According to the wiki

Can we even be in a situation while fighting dragons where we have "adjacent targets that hit the wearer"? Do there "adjacent targets" have to be next to the player (in melee distance)? I do not remember dragons that rush towards the player even is they are aggressive.

Dragonbane 2h and Swords are best-in-slot when you have 100% Hit chance. If you do not have 100% Hit chance then the Dragonbane ammo is better because it boosts your Hit chance significantly.

Revenantbane equipment is best-in-slot for Revenants. It's also considerably cheaper in terms of risk than similar other weapons. However, it is not particularly good for PvP, although I imagine if you're fighting Revenants then your goal is to flee from PKers not to engage them.

Abyssalbane weapons are OK. It's not going to beat a Scythe's extra range with its hue damage boost alone, but the huge damage boost may actually be better than the T80 damage+range the the Dragon rider lance offers. Someone would have to do a few hours testing. It is however much cheaper to access than both, so is a good candidate for mid-level players.

Hopefully we’ll see abyssalbane find more use with the new abyssal creatures that Jagex have been hinting at for a while. Would be nice if they changed it to a Halberd instead.

The Dragonbane shield might be useful in ED2 -but I’d have to test it out. I think it just needs a new effect tbh. Perhaps a % chance of reflecting dragon fire?

Revenant bane is useless simply because revenants are shit money. I know this as I have done them extensively. I suggest they be changed to Necrobane and the boost apply to all undead (I.e. barrows, spiritual mages, aberrant specters, etc)

Tried Dragonbane 2h on adamant dragons. Liked the damage, but the accuracy is bad without Turmoil. This means I will need to bring extra prayer pots to maintain Turmoil + SS for some healing from time to time.

in EDG2, there are several instances when you find yourself surrounded by dragons at close range

No thanks. We already have Salve(e) Amulet and Undead Slayer perk which allows people to roflstomp this group of monsters.

Use Turmoil then. Having to bring a Super Restore flasks to maintain should be a non-issue.

Aforementioned, Dragonbane Melee equipment is BiS when your hit chance is 100%. This is achievable at QBD (on-task), Adamant dragons, KBD, etc. Off-task at QBD you will probably need to stick to Dragonbane ammo.

Did not know that as I've never been there, thank you. I suck at bossing, so going solo through EDG1 on hard mode is not possible for me (or at least I do not see an incentive to go overboard trying to do it).
