So the problem with this though, is aminica is about half of what rune ore used to be. Sure it's better than stone spirits as a drop, but if armours got switched to salvage and basically made it no loss of profit, ores should have been treated the exact same way.

Let's rephrase me a bit: You haven't ever ranted because some bosses and/or slayer mobs feature drops which naturally lost value over the course of years? I mean GWD1 bosses can drop snape grass, worth some two digit value per unit - it was certainly more at the time it was introduced. This basically just shows loot tables should be refreshed every once in a while.

I'd actually suggest 2 Runite spirits + Light Animica spirit + Dark Animica spirit in place of Runite spirits. That's closer to what Runite ore was prior to the rework. 2 Banite spirits or Necrite spirit + Phasmatite spirit in place of Adamantite spirits. Coal and other lower tier ores are fine, as they weren't worth much prior to the rework anyway.
