They are quite obnoxious, aren't they? All that pestering when we're going about our business at the Grand Exchange and pretty much everywhere with rocks or forges. Even worse, the Artisan's Workshop is infested with the little blighters. Nothing like doing a daily Ceremonial challenge and getting called out every few seconds. They wore out their welcome in no time flat and we're going to be stuck with them for the next few weeks.
Personally I'd like if they shut their traps after the first time you read the flyer, but I doubt they'll get adjusted before the rework actually comes out.
Them, and those heralds with their barrage of snowballs. Would love to show them a thing or two... *grumble*
(but it's not like you can mute any of the other NPCs there like the traders, why would these guys matter? Oh and Menaphos or Priff as well for alt GE's)
I can't speak for everyone, but it's the personal touch that's driving me batty. I see "Hey UnwieldyPast" in the corner of my eye, and I instinctively think that it's someone trying to get my attention. Which, I mean, they are, that's the entire point of them, but they're not exactly other players. Other NPC dialogue is annoying, sure, but it's generic chatter. This one changes depending on who happens to be around them.
Or maybe it's the flashbacks to the Random Events in crowded places from ten years ago, where not looking up when an NPC was calling your name meant bad things were about to happen to you.
