I run a clan alongside a very dedicated team of admins and clan members who have put their time and effort into making a t7 citadel with all upgrades. yes, it was hard work, a lot of grinding plots, setting clan events around citadel to get the visits and caps, but this only increased the sense of satisfaction we got when we achieved T7 and got our sparkly vex and I have a lot of respect for any clan that has also achieved this. With this update I feel this has all been taken away from us and not just us but any future clans who are up for that same challenge. And the sense of achieving something together…after all isn’t this what clans are all about. It just seems to easy now and where’s the fun in that.

I agree citadel needed an update but only to add to it not take away from it. I assume that’s what the empty plots are for, to add more skill plots.

This feels like too low of a number. Getting upkeep for the citadel should be a team effort and if 1 person can completely get upkeep alone (2k resource cap at Tier 5) it doesn't feel fair to me. In my opinion the speed of capping or number of incentives should be increased as they are the most popular reasons that people don't do it.


1 person alone can't do all of that, your forgetting metal bars and p bars require x3 resource.

actual total is 13,290... with that ammount in toe and 2k for your clan. that should be 7 people, with change using old values. but don't forget 2 avas can cap put them on charcoal only and you'd need only 5 people.

with new values its 2,219... aka just barely 2 people.

while yes these values are stupidly low, you still cant solo sadly.

if it were up to me i'd reduce the values by 1/3rd but make the numbers a more flat value.

so if i needed 1333 bars, id make it 1330 bars or 1335 bars.

I don't see this as taking away value, i see this as it being slightly easer to upgrade tiers.

as it stands ring now its super hard to do so because theres 2 of the 'bar type, AND you need x2 resources to make x1 bar so x3 resources in total...

if somebody were to say have 2k cap and want to make bars they'd get like 666.666... brars done.

if anything bar reqs should be lowered over anything else.

maybe slash everything 35% but lower bars even more than everything else.... say 55%?

I am liking the look of this, mostly for the fact it lessens the strain on the chore of upkeep.

But I have queries (idk if they have been asked I didnt look):

1. Will there be a change to the values required to upgrade;
- If so will they be higher or lower than currently.
2. Will there be changes made to the minimum visitors for upkeep to balance the lower values;
- 5 visitors when it only takes 1 to make the upkeep is unbalanced for clans with few members who are fully active.
3. Will there be a similar change to the visitors be made regarding upgrades;
- It feels a little unfair to lose resources aimed at upgrades as 'excess' simply due to having a shortage of visitors (It really cripples citadel upgrades/rebuilds).

I'd like to see visitor upkeep changed at the very least. Change it to only 1 visitor/week needed for upkeep. Would help out small clans immensely.

I'm also wondering why my clans citadel build time keeps changing? I don't move the build tick but it seems it's jumped three days over the course of this Year. :\


Not sure if anyone answered it, but the next build cycle doesn't start immediately after reset, rather it starts after someone goes to the citadel after reset. So next build cycle is exactly one week form that time.

No clue why it's like this but its one of many inconsistencies in RS.
