Today, Jagex has made their Big Survey of The Future of Runescape available to every Gielinorian. From Poll #21, clearly they listed The 7th Age of Gielinor among all other existing Runescape content. So I guess it is the right time to talk about the 7th Age of Gielinor in this Future Game Update forums, right?

OK... first what do you think is the cause of the end of the 6th Age when it comes? And what will the beginning of the 7th Age like?

Thoughts?

Thank you for your comment but please keep in mind I am not asking for "support" or asking for anybody to vote for it in Jagex newest Big Survey.

Please let me reiterate in the context and spirit of this Future Game Update forum, in the event when the 7th Age of Gielinor comes, what do you think the cause will be, and what will the 7th Age like? Additional comments like what 7th Age new game features, lore, among other things are, of course, always welcome. :)

Just because it's in the survey doesn't mean it's happening, or even that it's being considered.

Jagex's official "The Big RuneScape Survey 2018" included an option to support "Changing/Reverting the combat system" and yet we don't see that happening, nor is it a potential future update.
Don't forget – RuneScape members get TWO free spins a day instead of the usual one!

I'd reckon it'd be the World Guardian convincing the Elder Gods not to... y'know...
Destroy everything in existence.

No idea what they'd do after that. It's kind of the entirety of their Sixth Age storyline right now.

It would make sense for me if the elder gods awake.
This because so far this "age" system does increase after or at a major transformation or event.

Also I again will say it before people say it will happen yes or no.
The surveys are suggestions or things to look at how the x number of player think about the suggestions.

Its way cheaper and faster to just create a survey and look how people think about it then drawing a picture of it or making a short vid.

Yes, I think so too... but how is the 6th Age going to end then? What new important event will commence the start of the 7th Age?

I think the 6th age will end when a lurking monster called the Jed rises again and wreaks destruction upon Gielinor. The backstory of the Jed will be that he committed crimes long ago and the elder gods decided to just leave him to it for a while until they eventually got bored and decided to just imprison him in the core of Gielinor.

That turns out to be their sin as he escapes and regains all of his former power and more and then proceeds to destroy all of them in a 5 vs 1 fight. It is revealed that the increase in his power was partly due to the amount of MTX which desperate noob adventurers kept buying, which allowed him to get powerful enough to destroy the elder gods. In addition to that, he can also steal the powers of the gods and people whom he kills.

Then the player will have to defeat him by using actual skill and knowledge of the game, with the help of the other gods uniting together and acting as meatshields to absorb damage. After the player beats him, they will gain all of his powers and proceed to use it to restore Gielinor to it's untarnished form, but some of it will still remain and the player will be a god as result. Then all of the other gods who are still alive will then voluntarily agree to leave Gielinor again and allow the player to become the sole ruler of the planet.

The 7th age will begin a glorious start with MTX completely forbidden and the noobs who rely on it will finally be exiled from the game.

There is no "MTX" in the Gielinor where "Jed" stole from. Perhaps your "Jed" actually did his crime and time in a different universe, or an alternate reality of Gielinor where the World Guardian does not exist? Or maybe the Elder Gods in that Gielinor would put "MTX" there for "Jed" to steal soon? :)
