Excuse my language but, jesus fucking christ, what the have you been doing for the past whole year exactly?

Well it was essential for Mod Osborne to take our money and go holidaying in Morrocco. The game wouldn't have survived without that.......
Annoyed with the unnecessary lying by JAGEX | Quests were identified "in trouble" in 2013 yet JAGEX has done nothing to fix the problem I Bloody disgrace Mining & Smithing rework has axed, bunch of lazy amateurs with excuses but no talent

Either do it completely or just don't do it at all at this point. The game simply cannot use more unfinished business, especially with so many things still existing in a poor or blatantly broken state. If the priorities of Jagex as a studio lie elsewhere and more resources are not available, so be it. Just shut the project down and call it a day, then focus on the projects that are manageable and can be delivered according to a quality standard instead.

It's a NO from me, though I think this shouldn't even be polled to begin with as it goes against the very core of the choices Jagex has made the past months, namely to stop creating unfinished projects.

Look at all these experts that haven't kept up with the dev blogs and Q&As. There are reasons that they can't just out and do it in 1 go without having major impact on other updates (that's for you).

The update was ~50% done at first after they started working on it in earnest; after player feedback it got scratched back to ~10% done.

And then after the big RuneScape survey, they noted that players cared more about M&S being beneficial rather than about reshuffling the tiers.

You wanted different results? You wanted the reshuffling of tiers to be a priority?

YOU SHOULD HAVE VOTED THAT WAY.
Or now, you have no right to complain about this proposal. Because in regards to the survey its what seems is best for players in terms of other updates and bringing in the most wanted part of M&S.

I'd like to speculate on that it's not that players don't like expansion type updates. It's the fact that it wasn't done right. Hiding content behind reputation system.
Myself, I'm giving up the idea of getting back my Quest cape, as number of quests are locked behind the reputation that takes hours or tens of hours of grinding out the same old skills.

It might work for mid-level players as to giving them some incentive to rise their skills, but not for me as a maxed player. Penalizing me for investing time into my skills before hand is what ruined Menaphos expansion for me, not the long development time and lack of other updates.

My vote: No

P.s

If no wins. I really hope you get it right this time.

As a maxed player you can kill magister, assuming you have a decent slayer level. Done well he's 10k rep/hr. And if you like bossing, can be fun.

Also obelisks (if they're still a thing) are 20k rep per day in like 10 minutes

Man, I really hope people understand what you are saying. (and that I do as well)

Yes, yes, yes. Give us the new content. Clean up the mess after. We all understand that it is a mess so if you can distract us with the shinies then nobody will even notice.

Oh how great, MORE UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

If you are going to poll this, then please do a proper poll and add a 3rd option to get the entire rework that was promised with re-tiering included. Not just the "80%".

Then a second poll with the 2 most popular choices out of those 3, since my vote priority would be "Full Rework" > "No Rework" > "Rework without metal tier rebalance".

That's what the "No" option means.

You really should include a better wording of the poll to include this fact. I read the whole dev blog and see this stated at the bottom, but when this goes in-game players will read the 'Yes' as what is said and the 'No' as No Rework.

I'm glad you guys are putting this dev blog out before the poll. (Something positive from the feedback being given)

I highly recommend people vote NO on this. This is a cop out and lazy. They have had years to bring this update to the players and act surprised when we request it year after year. They clearly have no desire to bring skilling in line with modern times. Don't let them take the easy way out. We all deserve better. Vote NO.
