I wanted to vote for that aura rework but that currency gained on daily login ruined it. :( When you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.

Because to me this sound more like that you don't need to complete these quests, to be able to defeat these bosses.

If defeating these bosses would be required, then quest cape would be next cape I can kiss goodbye, for good...

Glad to see more transparency about the development process. I have a few thoughts about some of the options, though.

I think you're being a bit too hasty with this. Players offered feedback on changes to this (and Deathmattch) on launch and a while after, such as changing the death system in the Wilderness to use a Death's Office system (letting players use armour to match weapon tiers and making fights fairer without risking 100m) and it was all totally ignored. I think it would be worth exploring some of the smaller changes such as this and trying them out before just hitting it with the delete hammer.

I realise it's hard to clarify which you would do without seeing if it is popular, but at the same time I think the two different options needed to both be polled separately from the start. I didn't vote for this specifically because I fear the second option would win (which I REALLY do not want), but I'd happily go for the first option.

These really don't go far enough to address the core issues. Auras are too powerful full stop. Dailies are OP and should be given randomly while skilling.

Is this list a joke? I logged in for the first time in a while to the forums just to comment on this. What the hell are you guys thinking? If this year is filled with updates like this, I will be just as disappointed as last year.

Seems like you might have the wrong impression on the point of this poll, it's not just a yes/no poll in the style of OSRS where each result needs a threshold to be developed.

We're using the results to adjust our backlog, we'll be weighting the jobs which already exist there with priorities based on the poll results.

Obviously though if an update got 0 votes, we probably won't be doing it.

While I'm glad that it's likely you will be finally increasing the Menaphos reputation rate, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed it took this long to make this change. The reputation system has been very unpopular since the release of Menaphos.

It reminds me of the livid farm update, where people had been saying for years how it's a huge grind to do and not very enjoyable before any change was made.

e: Glad to see most of these updates will be implemented though. A lot of them sound pretty interesting.

I am quite disappointed to see that even in the backlog there is absolutely nothing for individuals and clans that prefer multi-way pvp and competitive clan wars.

Before anyone misinterprets this, no it is not about warbands or white portal Free For All.

It is about F2P and P2P clan wars (rated clan wars and purple portal clan wars) which was quite popular but went stagnated because of lack of updates, and lack of interest from developers.

The only developer Jagex has for PvP only knows single way PvP and is utterly clueless about multi-way PvP and warring. Constant "improvements" on single way PvP and re-balancing PvM made warring a very unpleasant experience even for those that were regularly playing clan wars. It is quite a let down to see that the game designers and developers at Jagex think so lowly of clan wars and warring in general that they have completely abandoned and rejected the existence of warring clans. This also lead to the massive waste of time and resources on Bounty Hunter which was quite frankly pay2win and showed no hindsight of multi PvP.

Few years back, competitive clanning was a thing and Jagex used to host yearly competitions in a clans tournament where clan wars was the highlight of the tournaments. Jagex even gave up on that. They even tried to convert that to a horrible PvM tournament Dimension of the Damned that lacked support for clans and teams.

The strategy to herd PvP players away from RS3 into OSRS and call the remaining a minority, turning many regular players into seasonals or casuals, always having their opinion at the bottom of polls, does not work for everyone and it has lead to many people unsubscribing or abandoning RS in its entirety. Nearly all of the popular games on the Internet are a multiplayer PvP experience, whereas Runescape is turning into a solo player experience.

Put clan wars in the backlog, revive competitive clanning for both F2P and P2P.
