other options:

shop that sells flax daily
add flax in small quantities to the drop tables of some monsters in f2p
item you can steal from men/women around runescape
Are you questioning my insanity or my incompetence?
Some seek refuge in audacity. I seek refuge in absurdity.

It just came to my head that these p2p -> f2p updates, will actually not only help the f2p community, but will actually HELP THE P2P economy.

The f2p tree log economy currently has a minimal impact on the p2p tree log economy. However with the release of the fletching as f2p, there will be an increase in demand of f2p tree logs. This increase in demand and no increase in the demand of p2p tree logs, will mean that the prices of p2p tree logs will remain the same or be more than f2p tree logs. This is since, p2p tree logs n not be cut by f2p.

There also, is another more Major reason to why this update will be very beneficial to p2p. With the increase demand in f2p logs, the prices of f2p logs will decrease. Also, this means p2p players who are low level in fletching will have a less costly level uping.

This also, would apply to flax, however instead of demand, there will be more supply, thus decreasing the prices, and making it possible to get more XP from both fletching ( stringing bows/crossbows) and crafting (making bow strings). So making flax f2p, would actually help the p2p community that have low levels in fletching, crafting, or both.

I feel you phrased this rather poorly. For starters, an increase in demand would INCREASE prices, not decrease. I think you mixed some words up there. As for P2P Fletching costs, it is by far one of the cheapest buyable skills along with Cooking, possible to even make a profit. Making it "less costly" is a moot point.

It also won't help P2P all that much. It won't hurt, either. Again, Fletching is dirt cheap. As for Crafting, it is also affordable in P2P, especially with Prif access. It can be more expensive than Fletching, depending on method used, but still not bad.

No idea why you are so excited about the potential of making Fletching more affordable. It's like saying you found a way to make mowing the lawn cheaper.

Then tell me why are so many P2P players against fletching becoming F2P. If it does nothing to the P2P, then what is all this fuss about????

It's been a week, and I have seen many p2p give me a negative reaction to the flethcing now becoming f2p news. They don't explain why.
