Are there any plans regarding new raids in the future? It says in the RuneScape wiki that there are some bosses to be released at some point, like Airut shaman. I know they are probably not coming any time soon, but at some point?
P.S. This is for Jagex: If and when you release new raids, please, just please make them soloable. Not solo-only, but soloable, so that both solo players and groups could take on them. I would really appreciate that.
I heard that they have some new raids in planning but aren't sure when they'll get them out. As for your PS, I totally agree. I'm not super weak but I'm also not the best player (especially since I've never done a raid before) so I always get left out of raid groups... to this day, I've never tried a raid because I can't get in a group that lets me stay. So a soloable option for raids would be really nice.~ Jacob, Prince of the Kingdom of Heaven ~
I wanted Solak to be soloable, I think most people did. Jagex should know by now that raids style, team based, endgame mega bosses are the very last thing that is wanted by the player base
A sequal to raids was planned and like Solak was the major highlight of a Runefest but it was cancelled due to lack of support.
I am a PVMer in soloable content. Nex is soloable but it requires what I feel to be that much effort that it takes away the fun of doing a boss. When I PVM I want to enjoy it like you do a skill or quest and I don't get that with Solo nex, Araxxi, Telos and others and then when they release bosses that cannot be soloed I am forced to get the 1 for comp or a few for Master quest and then I dont touch it again
I am not going to support content I have little or no interest in and Solak isn't even out and I am dreading it. After raids for them to now call Solak the hardest boss on release floods me with anxiety and it's is not something that puts a smile on my face. First and foremost I want to retain my comp therefore to do so, Jagex leaves me with little choice
I am in favour of bosses for the many not the few. I don't think we are any longer in a game that needs or requires majorly difficult content in boss types.
One feeling I do have is that God Wars 2 is a challenging but decent improvement to God Wars 1. they are all soloable and whilst GW2 is significantly harder than GW1 its more of a fun challenge than a chore.
I think if Jagex made Raids 2 mid level rather that trying to outdo Yakamaru like they are doing with Solak then it opens a scope for people to want to learn.. I find there is an absence in content for lower than elitst to learn in groups and become better and work their way upto Raids 1.. I just feel Jagex are always trying to outdo the term "endgame". My problem is that it caters for the few, not the many
They need to get back to their roots with simple bosses that didn't have 7-10 phases to remember to kill said boss. Solak, Aod etc require teams to defeat and to be honest an absurd amount of people required. Doesn't jagex see the bigger picture most want to be able to solo a boss not have to gather with 6 or more random people that can scam you etc.
When araxxor came out i wasn't even tempted to go kill it, the appeal isn't there like god wars or god wars 2.
We need more bosses like from god wars/god wars 2 that don't have so many phases and have such a high complexity that makes it quite un enjoyable.
We have bosses for every level past 40 now, all the way into T92 (and Solak will flesh out the T92 dualwields).
After Solak (who I agree should be 1+ people, not 2+), Jagex needs to switch their focus fully to Unfinished Business which is mainly Fifth Age questlines and skills that haven't been touched in 15 years (i.e. all of the non-combat skills).
*Want and need are very different. Plenty of people may want different bosses, a return to the roots, etc etc.
But do we NEED more bosses when we already have a pretty flawless lineup for gear acquisition and the other half of the game outside of PvM is decaying more and more?

The thing is, this isn't even a controversial viewpoint: Jagex has done poll after poll that proves this is what players want.
The problem we as the Players have is that the JMod(s) who make Raids and in particular AoD and Solak completely IGNORE these polls. Even when they run them themselves. The JMOds that make these bosses are in the tiny minority that likes to do 7-player bossing and so this is all we get shoved down our throat.
We either need to manage to convince those JMods to pack it in, or convince the person in charge of the update release schedule to stop letting them. Sadly, given that both AoD and Solak were developed in the background of a poll that proved that nearly nobody wanted them, I think convincing Jagex is a much taller order than it should be.
