The pre-event for Children of Mah has been confirmed as a skilling activity, bringing the Tale count for the year to officially 13. 11 Tales of the Arc, Tales of the God Wars, and Tales of Nomad.

Loving the Tale support this year, and hoping it, and quests of course, continue on strong next year!

Both, however the throne room might be from a upcomming miniquest involving the fight between zaros and zamorak as a flashback, however I red somewhere that this throne room is dug up in a digsite found on freneskae, what if Zaros castle was actually on freneskae? Wouldn't fit in lore though.
not on Freneskae, you mustve misread it

They did not, no. 12 Quests a year at this point would mean the only content we'd get each month is a quest. Which *I'm* fine with, but most are not.

6 a year, with Quests taking half the Large slots is fine in my book, with several more quests' worth through Tales is a great system in my eyes. Tales are replacing small scale quests anyway.

Honestly, if you look back, how many of the old "quests" were really any more complicated than the mini-quests we got in Tales of the Arc or Tale of Nomad?
Are you questioning my insanity or my incompetence?
Some seek refuge in audacity. I seek refuge in absurdity.

Eh, personally I would prefer more quests but I understand they are not the type of content that bring in the dollars for the vast majority of players- like I only log into this game for the quests in all honesty, but I understand that most players don't. While I would like more quests and I feel that RS quests are the best in the industry (better than WoW, The Witcher 3, Mass Effect etc.) it kind of sucks how most players don't feel the same way. Supply and demand and all that. I guess I should be grateful high quality quests are released at all with the new direction I have seen Jagex going in.

It's just a shame how few people like quest, they deserve to be liked. IMO quest rewards should be buffed to attract more people. EXP is not important, it's important to have fun and play with your friends.:) -Lopendebank3

Children of Mah officially has a Koschei's Troubles requirement. Hurrah for ROTM being required for a quest!!! @Fannygirdle on Twitter | Co-Owner of The Scrying Pool, a future updates and lore clan

You do realise that since CoM is Endgame req, that will have even more quest reqs because RotM is now req to it in form of CoM?

Also, TWW can't be suggested req for that either, because it is req to Ooak and TLW.

Is this true? Oh my goodness. I truly thought this would never happen.

I'm managing my expectations, but despite myself, I'm starting to get just the tiniest bit excited for this quest.

So, what do folks think this new environment is that popped up in the BTS and the Azzanadra model preview? A reworked/new section of the Temple at Senntisten? A hidden dungeon in the desert? A piece of the old Zarosian palace?

It seems to have piles of sand, minecarts, pillars covered in Zaros mouths and unidentified (possibly Kharidian) glyphs, strange purple crystals, and human workers pedaling penny farthings to power some unknown machinery. Any ideas?
