Finally updated the thread a bit! Really hoping we get the Expansion 2 announcement by July so we can start speculating wildly about the quests within :D @Fannygirdle on Twitter | Co-Owner of The Scrying Pool, a future updates and lore clan

Giving the times between them, I don't think Expansion 2 and 3 will be as large as Menaphos.

Karamja seems to be the most realistic choice for the 2nd or 3rd expansions. Which may see 2 or 3 more quests to introduce the Karamja Gods finally and possibly the discovery of the God who's name is supposed to be on the map already.

This would bring every major old questline that has a lot of god influence up to date with the 6th age. Since now Elidinis and Tumeken are most likely going to return in the next Desert quest.

Karamja is in dire need of content, story, and graphics and we already know that the graphics for Karamja are being worked on now, as one of the J Mods confirmed Karamja started to be worked during GamerJam.
Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.

Nevermind, I am wrong. It appears that all four new quests take place during the 5th Age according to wiki. This explains why Elidinis probably won't return during these quests.

I was really hoping for her to make an appearance, but guess I got to wait longer.

Also, as predicted, one more quest will be about Scabaras. Since Het, Crondis, and Apemekin are all looking for his location after Our Man In The North. It also appears that this where their story ends as well as Leela and Ozan for now. Although Ozan seems to make a very small appearance in 'Phite Club.

'Phite Club is Osman Heavy and basically a Coup.

Also, I am really hoping they tie in Tourist Trap, from the looks of it, other than the Mahjarrat quests and Evil Dave quest, all desert quests except Tourist Trap are required for the questline.

I am interested to where they take this from here. But it seems like we are are in for one final extremely long quest to finish everything up. Or at least 2 more quests.
Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.

I updated 'Phite Club's wiki page with most of the quest's lore if lorehounds want to read up on it. The bulk of the juicy stuff is post-boss fight.

I want to point out that if they follow their mind set, we should have the Desert final with in 6 months to a year.

Lord of Vampyrium and River of Blood are about 7 months apart. Because they wanted to finish the questline while it was fresh on the mind. Plague's End and The Light Within were about a year apart as well. Again this was to set things up for the future.

If I had to guess, the last desert quest should be in November to January or they could surprise the hell out of us and release it at the end of this month or next month.

I also kinda think they will be setting it up similar to River of Blood so that we can have another questline in the desert. I can't remember what Akthanakos said he was going to do after the final ritual. But is could possibly be him, but so far, we haven't been enemies with the Zarosian Mahjarrat. But it could be centered around him and Enakhra. Especially since we have yet to get their bobbleheads.

I think some of your logic falls apart here. These updates happened when there were 3 smaller teams working over a 3 month dev cycle. Now we have 2 large teams working in a 6 month dev cycle.

Rowley, the desert curator is on one of these expansion teams. Furthermore the only reason Light Within was made because it won on Runelabs, it was never planned to be made.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see the desert finale soon. Just I wouldn't expect to see it at all this year.

Iirc they made Mahjarrat a 4th Pillar of the Sixth Age, just like Gods, Elder Gods and Dragonkin. So I fully expect to see more Mahjarrat stuff in the future and collect them bobbleheads.

You forget they have two teams rotating expansions. Menaphos' team doesn't have a release again until December's expansion, and the next Expansion is in September.

How can that be possible when one of the cats in Menaphos refers to you as one who calls yourself The World Guardian? This dialouge already cements Menpahos in the Sixth Age upon release.
Why no game balance in RS3 Jagex || VN discussion Thread
The opposite of Justice is simply another Justice. What is Evil is subjective to each person.

The city is in the 6th Age. The 4 quests are in the 5th age. Amascut told me this on twitter. And it has been confirmed that all 4 quests are in the 5th age.

That is true. I had forgotten that there are different teams on each expansion.
