I was not very detailed in my runelabs submission but it was very clear that it was intended to be underwater themed and there was no intention of bringing back tutorial Island as it once was. You're talking about something you when you don't have all of the information. Amascut did read my Runelabs submission and she most likely read my statements on the Runelabs forum post here: 387-388-20-65656453

If you don't have all of the facts I'm sure it does appear that way, but none of that was really directed towards you anyway.

If it helps, it's not you I'm worried about :P I'm actually very happy with all your follow-up to it, but I just wish you'd gone into it with a more clear idea. That's what I've always seen RuneLabs as, in terms of player content anyway. I just now expect this to have a ton of awful expectations on it from those many people who voted nostalgically, and am worried the devs will buy into that and make something too focused on what the Island was, rather than all the more interesting Underwater content we could get. Additionally, I'm just worried about graphical budget and design of the island overall, since it needs to change to be any good.

We'll see, I just can't find myself hopeful.

Indeed, I have the same concerns, haha. I was talking to Zoli Ben about it, and it just has a lot of really confusing things for me. I'm interested, but tentatively so because what the goals it has are seem to be a bit off - Mahjarrat returning to Freneskae, Zaros revealing himself to Zamorak... ach. We'll see how development plays out.

I blame JAGEX for the lack of clear ideas. The criteria really encouraged basically click bait like titles rather than a developed idea. I mean look how the raw ideas of bank and tutorial island beat all the developed runelabs suggestions. If players aren't encouraged to go into depth, people will just put the minimum effort in to win as the time spent going into detail is not worth it as the raw idea will win poll position anyway. Its a don't hate the player, hate the game issue.

I see a runelabs ideally how you see it but in reality, click bait will always win and JAGEX seemed fine with that sadly. However like the Seren suggestion, I believe it is also possible to utilise this. Part of the quest has to include tutorial island because of the title, but that doesn't have to be a main focus. It could be like MPD or Love Story, starts with a irrelevant detail then grows into something else.

Some people may want a nostalgia trip but will they bother to post on the forums? Mostly no or at least not decent feedback. With the underwater part in the poll, Guitar Girl supporting actual story, lots of decent feedback to polish it up and hopefully a decent developer in charge (probably the deal breaker) it could work. Remember all suggesters get contacted so they will aim to make content they like. There's still hope
Wake me up when Osborne resigns | Will not be renewing membership until Jagex deals with its toxic developer culture & has a new, better lead designer | *Soon TMö is not a fun joke, it is an admission the company is an embarrassment

Has there been any rumblings on a potential title for the Goebie Quest?

I think most of us are assuming this continues the "Liberation of Mazcab" theme, perhaps even involving the Airut Shaman, but I don't think we've been too privy to any information beyond this being a low/mid-level quest about Goebies.

Nothing yet! Still waiting for the Myreque name, and I know they've had it named for months :P

They've been pretty good at hiding the details of the Myreque quest :P.

Edit: Might want to add the Enchanted Key as a requirement for the Seren quest too.

Oh, that!

I read that completely differently. xD As in like, "Jagex ruined Burgh de Rott."

Well, that says a lot, that that's my first thought. X.X
