I'm glad that they Dwarf finale isn't going to be tied to the Sixth Age storyline. I like when storylines coalesce, but I think it's still a bit much that EVERYTHING seems to be tied to the Sixth Age, even though it makes sense for that to happen.

You should probably add that Bringing Home the Beacon should be released next week.

Like everyone else, I'm worried about Owen's quest being in the Sixth Age. Kind of takes away from the theme in Ozan and Ariane's quests, since Ozan now has a role to play in the Desert series, and the way they integrated Prince Ali Rescue into it was brilliant. Ariane's, while not having ties to a pre-existing series, at least made sense. Now Owen just gets one quest, and since it's set after The World Wakes, they'll have to come up with some other reason for us to be considered in Recruitment Drive. However, I am looking forward to Saradomin's role.

I'm glad I got a question answered about whether or not Bandos would seek revenge. It's too early to say if such a quest would be in the making, but if we get a sequel to the Goblin series, I'm looking forward to it.

Didn't they kind of imply that the next Myreque quest would be the finale? I would hope not.

I had to over see the last one when it is pages deep in this forum...

I don't mind it going deep if there's nothing to discuss :P With any luck we won't have that problem again for awhile.

I as well, though I'm glad to see Dwarf sitting aside for now.

No release date officially announced. I shall refrain until we get the BTS on Friday.

They did, which confused me, as Ana has said at least two more, one about Safalaan, and one to finalize the story.

Quite sad that the quests were pushed back to the second half of the year, because I'm in the same boat as I Like Adze. Mandatory military service...at least they send us home almost every weekend and we have a few hours pastime almost every day in my country.

I've been waiting to get into the Elven Capital and for some quests that actually have a good story and are not combat focused.

I would think that The World Wakes would lead to the Myreque series getting bigger in scope, especially given how Ana wrote that quest, and Branches of Darkmeyer is required for the full rewards.

Yay, a quest! It is a voice-acted quest, right? And the term "lower level" seems to be the quest is novice or intermediate nowadays. And I'm sure that the quest isn't a rework or anything since the BtS doesn't say anything about it.

And I'm pretty sure I'm the only one thinking of this but I vastly prefer the newer quests over the older ones. They don't require you to go on "getting a random item in the middle of the plot in order to proceed" and it's more cohesive.

Congratz on filling the old thread.

Also isn't a Falador city rework (graphical) supposed to be released with the Black Knights Fortress rework/Sir Owen quest?

Thanks!

There was talk of it ages ago, and the Black Knight's Fortress itself has been reworked and shown in a screenshot, but I've heard nothing about Falador itself recently.

Well, take a look at this, from a thread called 'Falador Graphical Rework'. Stu actually posted on it before he posted on the Quests in the Making thread.

Original message details are unavailable.
"
The Falador graphical rework has been speculated for quite some time I believe.
First of all, is there any evidence that it is coming soon?
Secondly, is it possible that it will accompany the Black Knights' Fortress rework?
"

Just so you're not disappointed later, the Sir Owen quest is a rework of the Black Knights' Fortress. Falador will not be graphically reworked as part of this quest.

"
Although I do have to say that the graphics for the Black Knights' Fortress look slightly disproportionate and cartoonish compared to the surrounding area.
"

Honestly, I don't think that screenshot does justice to the new Black Knights' Fortress. It looks like they used a really wide-angled field of view to get all of the landscape in frame, which makes the fortress look low and stubby.

Up close, it's an imposingly tall structure, with geometry on every height level!
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you[...]For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?
