Hi All!
Following on from my blog, this is where you can contribute your own ideas for future diaries, or elite sections for existing diaries. Obviously there’s no guarantee we’ll use your idea or haven’t already thought of it, but lots of inspiration are drawn from player suggestions! Please bear in mind the following if you’re suggesting tasks: - Bear in mind the core aims of the project. (See the blog) - Try to stick to the skill “theme” of the area if at all possible. This is the loosest requirement. - Avoid anything that relies on a random possibility, as this has caused problems in the past (see the gout tuber in Karamja!) this means avoiding things like monster drop tables, clue scrolls and other such random features. - Avoid bottlenecks – things players can only do one at a time such as successfully thieving from one particular stall or killing the KBD. - Never use any part of a quest as a task. It would be great if you could follow this template: Type: Elite Reward/Elite Task/Other task Area: Lumbridge/Falador/Varrock/Karamja etc... Task description: or Reward description: Please keep this thread for your ideas only, discussion regarding the topic should be on the blog thread – this is so we can more easily find your contributions! Area: Karamja Reward: Be able to make a few extra nats (0-3?) whenenver you craft with the elite Karamja Gloves equipped Type: Elite Reward Area: Varrock Reward: Obtain free pure essence from That dude in the magic shop once a day (I know this is already a reward for Ardy achivement diary, but more free ess is better am I right?) Type: Elite Reward Area: Varrock Reward: Ability to receive a few planks (any type) for completing tasks at the sawmill. Imma post more here later |

Area: Karamja Task description: Obtain a firecape Type: Elite Reward Area: Varrock Reward description: Mine/Smith up to 2 rune objects/ores at a time occasionally. Type: Elite Reward Area: Fremennik Reward description: Boots now allow 1 person to open the waterbirth dungeon doors(previously required 2 people). Plus another additional charge to lyres when charging them. Type: Elite Reward Area: Falador Reward description: Shield gives 2 or maybe 3 full prayer recharges a day. Mind is drawing a blank at the moment -- will add more later. |

Switch easy task "Get a replacement Ghostspeak Amulet from Father Urhney" to beginner "Look through Father Aereck's selection of gravestones", since easy task needs start the quest and beginner needs complete the quest. (so lvl 3 skillers can get the ring) I'm p2p player but PLEASE, put lumby hard diary to f2p! Trying to make out new ideas all of time |
