How come osrs have released a date for mobile yet rs3 still haven't and bringing out updates I haven't heard of yet they say in the month ahead of september that we do. Getting sick of waiting which may sound impatient but I'm not the only one.¸,¤°ˆˆ°¤,¸

(1) The crucial part of the Mobile port is behind RS3 Mobile now when OSRS doesn’t have any problem. There is no need to rush when RS3 has more far content than OSRS. Jagex can use a month or 2 more to get RS3 Mobile into better shape at launch.
(2) It is not a good idea from the marketing standpoint to release RS3 Mobile before December 2018. There are heavy weight video game releases in the likes of CoD: Black Op 4 and RDR2. You should get the idea why the scheduled release of Battlefield V was scared off to November, but then November now will become bad for a RS3 Mobile release due to Battlefield V among the others. So it is wise just to wait a little longer.
(3) I believe the Mobile projects are far more valuable to Jagex’s Chinese parents and their markets in the East. They are not in a real rush to pick up a just a few more players in the West.
Anyway, you should hear more about RS3 Mobile in Runefest 2018. I predict a short open beta will be announced, followed by a tentative release date set either in December 2018 or January 2019, together with Jagex’s grander plan for global mobile domination through acquisition and partnership.
Jagex just needs to stop being so ambitious and giving themselves these deadlines that they can’t meet. I mean, I can understand it taking while to iron out but they had an eta of early this year and hear it is September.

Jagex is a company, owned by a Chinese Gaming company called Zhongji Holding, which is in turn part of "Shanghai Zhongji Enterprise Group", primarily a Real Estate business. They make the decisions. Jagex has deadlines because they can't NOT have them. Even if they were an independent company, they would still have deadlines, as it is a necessity. The only difference is they may give themselves more reasonable deadlines, but seeing as they are owned by a company that is owned by a company, their hands are tied on this. Why RS Mobile is a stupid idea
Jagex probably can release RS3 Mobile in October or November if they really want to... but I think it is a much better idea not to fail badly in the line of fire among the 3 most anticipated new multiplayer games of the year 2018 coming up in October and November.
It may be better a little bit late to see how the others fail instead of its own demise.
@Peaky, Gwyndolynn isn't saying Jagex shouldn't have set a deadline, but rather not set up a deadline that is so unrealistic. The promised it would arrive early this year and here we are, approaching the 4th quarter and still only in closed beta stage.°l||l° Modest Skillers T7 Citadel | Skilling clan recruiting players. °l||l°

My point is that Jagex might not have decided on such a deadline. It is certainly possible they did so themselves, but it is also possible that the company that owns them said "try to get mobile out by this date if you can".
A bit more likely, they were asked to give an ETA, provided one that granted, clearly didn't work out but perhaps made sense at the time(at that point they probably didn't even consider the idea), and now here we are. What I'm trying to say is, this might not be Jagex's fault, at least not entirely. There's no way to know for sure, so assuming Jagex just bungled the whole deadline thing all on their own is a jump to conclusions if I've ever seen one.Why RS Mobile is a stupid idea
