Knightly Components don't have many uses atm besides the "Taunting" perk.

Here are a few ideas:

- Armor Perk - [knightly sounding name] - if in a Slayer Duo or a group, shield abilities Resonance, Reflect, and Barricade will now work on your partners instead of yourself

- T70 weapons and shield - using the appropriate secondary components/materials, players can build weapons and shields for use in combat. These items would function similarly to Rod-o-matics, but for combat.
Component costs would be fairly high though.

- Weapon Perk - Parry - your mainhand weapon has a % chance to reduce an attack by % per rank. (weapon variant, and weaker variant, of the Absorbative Perk)

- Armor and Weapon Perk - Spiritual Warrior. Provide a passive boost to Prayer. Each rank counts the same as a +1 to your gear,

- Armor and Weapon Perk - Spiritual Warrior Mk 1 - Can tune the piece of equipment to count as a factional item in GWD1. Requires a Sara/Zam/Arma/Bandos/Nex component or item to tune to similar to the Tune Bane Ore effect.

- Armor and Weapon Perk - Spiritual Warrior Mk 2 - Can tune the piece of equipment to count as a factional item in GWD2. Requires a Zam/Seren/Zaros/Sliske component or item to tune to similar to the Tune Bane Ore effect.

Nice idea.

I would rephrase the armour perk though - or is it actually supposed to have the abilities no longer affecting you?

Weapon perk sorta sounds useless, since the slot is actually more valuable than the armour one, it shouldn't have a perk weaker than something generated on an armour gizmo. Counter suggestion: Allow it to generate absorbative for weapons?

I couldn't think of a clever sounding name, so I just left it open ended for a dev to come up with (which tbh, is what they'd probably do anyways).

The main reason I didn't want to make the weapon perk as strong as the armor perk because weapons aren't exactly designed for that. Or at least in concept.
That big broad heavy shield is meant to take blows. Your armor is there to protect you.
You weapon can be used to parry, but the goal is to have it in a position to counter attack ASAP.

The weapon perk would tr to fit more for the tank role on teams. Or for taking on creatures that just dish out a lot of dps and whatever offenseive perks you were planning to add wouldn't help that much, but getting a bit more defense might help.

In the end, the goal is to toss out ideas for something (anything) to do with Knightly Components.

I'm not married to any specific idea. I'm just trying to put the concepts out so others can think of something, or something better.
