The mark and recall spells would be a highly versatile and well used combination for any player, skiller or pvmer.

The Mark Spell
: Put simply, this spell is used to mark your exact current location on the ground that you'd want to recall back to in the near future.

The Recall Spell
: Even simpler, this spell is used to teleport directly to the location of your Mark spell.

Updates from feedback:

**Spell should be tied to an item and/or have significant cost using currently obsolete runes.
- Mark Spell - Mind Runes or Ability (no cost)
- Recall Spell - Body Runes or Mind and Body (high cost)
- Could be an Invention unlock - still tied to item
- Could be divination Signs

Due to its extremely effect aspect, this would be a very high level spell combination. Perhaps with the completion of a quest or unlocked at a set magic level milestone. Even a milestone option in an expansion of 120 magic - see threat "120 Combat Skills" Quick find code: 185-186-427-66063976

There are already many ways to get around fast and freely without the use of a spellbook, so that doesn't make these spells overpowered. These simply add an all-inclusive travel method for those who've put the effort in to be able to reach the unlockable moment to use these spells.

This is extremely powerful, as you pointed out (though given how many teleports we have, now, it's not that powerful), so it would have to have quite high restrictions, and charge to use.

I'd suggest that perhaps it is tied to an item, which is consumable, that way the cost has to be payed each time. As for the method of obtaining, I'd suggest it be a reward from GoP, and possibly require runes, as well (there are quite a lot of runes that have had their usages cut, recently, which could do with more added to them, to sink them out of the game).

All good points and views. I do agree that it should require a cost. However, putting into consideration all types of players, it should appeal to both skillers and pvmers/pvpers. By that i'm just thinking of inventory spaces required to perform both spells. To me, it would be most widely accepted if the Mark spell had limited to no cost (maybe just an ability) and the Recall spell had the significant cost (make use of under valued runes like you mentioned). That way, for pvm/p it doesn't take up food space unless they decided they need to use the Recall spell and continue where they left off. For skillers, they have the option of standard skilling methods with regard to bank runs or loose the inventory space to runes/cost of spell in exchange for efficiency. It equals out to be very reasonable that way and, if it does require 100-120 magic to unlock, you've essentially earned the option :P

So many teleports. It's too convenient as it is, in my opinion. Even if this was a member only feature, restricted by a quest, a high level, and costed something in charges - why not bring mounts into the game, than? Not another teleportation spell.

Could it be used for prayer at the gilded altars, or during a duel? What about the Wilderness at x level of depth? Some places require us to go back and fourth, but not out of inconvenience - but to disable us from increasing in levels unrealistically; too fast. With this teleportation, I can not even move a step from my bank teller, to an ore mine; energy cache's, islands, enemies and bosses., loot, resources, etc.

It's an interesting idea, but i think it will make things a bit too convenient, whether or not it takes charges or something. Too little to cast it, it's too convenient. Too much to use the spell, than it becomes not even worth it. If it's placed at a fair use of charges or whatever, than it's just to easy.

Give us mounts.
With the mounts, we open world map.
Based off of our mounts' statistics, they can travel an x amount of distance.

There. Take a break on the mount, enjoy everything you pass by, no clicking, and it becomes more fun, and you are given & introduced to an entirely new kind of pet.

Sweet. Now I wish they had some sort of mounts. . . .

I can agree with this; bound to an item.

However, I do not think it should be repaired.... but, If it can be repaired/recharged, however, than I believe it should be an
augmentation
to an item based off of the invention skill - and than you repair/charge the item.

If it is not to be repaired, perhaps it should be like a Sign (of Mark & Recall).
