Would love this. Support.

So would I but it's not practical sadly.

What I think should be added is a ignore button, so you can ignore certain posters <- this would be a win, win situation for the forums.

I don' know why Jagex won't give us ignore features for the forums, it would remove a lot of the negativity that happens - it makes me wonder if they enjoy it themselves??

I think reporting to FMR is a useful tip. I reported a FMod for not removing a troll from the forums despite constant reports and the troll was banned for over a week afterward.

Except some if not most of the times, by the time someone gets responded to on the FMR, it would be weeks gone by and by then even when the Jmod says the Fmod action was incorrect, the issue is no longer relevant. Especially frustrating when a thread is wrongfully locked on the RGU because by the time it is declared innocent, the thread creator cannot bump it into relevancy even when unlocked because it will be relocked for 'grave bumping.'

If the time lapse in such an instance renders the thread 'no longer a recent game update' - you could perhaps ask for it to be moved to the 'Existing Game Content' forum?

Not ideal, I know, but at least it prevents the thread from getting lost and enables the discussion to continue.

Under these circumstances threads with such discussions already are soo much broken that hardly anyone will come back and pick-up such battered discussion, which individuals already do know before they break-up such discussion-threads with disruptions.
All is of course done within The Rules so nothing gets done a next time and players being member specially gets left unharmed because that's something not meant to be discussed at all. They pay ... they say.

Then perhaps the topic could be recreated in a new thread in Existing Game Content, if the original thread is too badly mangled? Where there's a will, there's a way.

i somewhat agree. my thread was dumped in rants although I don't understand why and it will be weeks before I get a response... so the damage is already done
