where did you see that? I think you're mixing the 3rd token we're getting soon-ish with the one on offer here. The gold VIP pack came with a total of 3 tokens(on purchase, in january and in July)

I think you have those mixed up but I could be wrong. Either way, I don't have an additional token in my bank right now.


I received an additional token today, and have seen a few others claim they also have.

We'll still be getting one in July though.

You'll receive the benefits straight away - I can see your Forum badge is active.

The armour is a cosmetic override, found in the wardrobe interface. If you can't see it, you might want to check your filters. You should also be able to access the Vault now, and the Reward Token can be found in the first tab of your bank.

The Vault is located within a portal in the Varrock Grand Exchange.

Not sure what you mean by drawing - though I'm assuming that you're referring to the monthly prize draw. It's hosted on a dedicated thread, which you can gain access to by posting here (click me).

Well, it is stated in the first post of this thread.


Well, it didn't state it in the description of the package which is what I look at before buying something, not the forums.


It states in the description of the package (on the subscription page) what you'd receive. As it didn't state you'd receive the Helion Aura, it would have safe to conclude that it wasn't part of the deal.

And if in doubt, all you have to do is reach out the community and ask.

Next time, report him in game. That's the best way of letting JaGex know about it. And for future reference, you could also email a more detailed description to tipoff@jagex.com, but note that this is a no reply email.

You have a Summer Special badge active on the Forums (hovering over it states that you have purchased the package). Are you sure you haven't already purchased it?

If you already own it, you won't be eligible to buy it again on that account.

I believe I purchased the Premier Gold whosie-whatsit some time back, but I would like to pad a few extra months onto my subscription by taking advantage of the "3 for 2" or maybe the "5 for 6" deal.

Unfortunately not. Like me, you'll already own all the items/cosmetics on offer, and I believe this is why you'll be unable to take advantage of the Summer Special membership packages.

Make sure you check your 'Upgrades and Extras' tab, your daily keys should be available to use from there.

This has nothing to do with this membership package.

Alas, the whole world had the same problem - Jagex took the game offline due to a game-breaking bug. It should be working now.

Looks like you just missed out on it.

As mentioned in the Summer Special 2018 FAQ, it was available to buy between 21st May 2018 and 15th July 2018.

The new version of RuneScape (RS3) is the game you played all those years ago, that's why your stats and items remain in-place.

OldSchool RuneScape was released in 2013. It has been developed as a separate game, and as such, everyone starts over.

The game when you played it was known as RuneScape (2), not OldSchool. It has since been updated and has been given a variety of names RS3, EOC, RS - whatever. The point is that the game that you hardly recognise IS the game you played all those years ago. It has just been updated so much in terms of graphics, layout, and mechanics that you hardly recognise it. This is why your stats exist on RS3, because that's the game you played.

As I mentioned, the current 'OldSchool' version of the game was created in 2013. It has since been updated, and now exists as a completely different game in its own right. Most of the stuff in it wasn't even around in the era it's 'set' in. If you haven't ever logged into an "OldSchool RuneScape" server, you'll obviously have no progress stats-wise - because you've never played it before.

And you can't transfer anything over. You're not alone, the same goes for everyone.
