I was hoping that the dragon pets you can get after incubating eggs received as a rare drop from certain dragons could be given the ability to be used as familiar overrides. I believe they share the same models as the already existing baby dragons that already have attack animations? Would be a great reward once growing it to 100% from a hatchling. :)

Pet dragons actually do use a different model than NPC baby dragons.

But I'd always support more ways to override my familiars with dragons. ^_^

. And I can't think of anything you can do with the physical item, unlike cats and overgrown cats which can be traded for death runes in West Ardougne.

Just because they dont have a use, doesnt mean they need to be interface pets.

I mean once cats are, you'll lose that ability you know.

I'm not saying all pets that have physical entities have to be familiar overrides. Perhaps once it reaches 100% growth state you unlock it as a companion pet to be used as a familiar override.

If you can unlock an override while keeping the item version, im all for that.

As long as those who like the item version get a choice to use them, i dont see any reason against it.
