its like Age of Aincrad that is based on the anime 'Sword Art Online' I've never even heard of that... It's this story about VRMMO which are Virtual Reality MMOs. You wear a headset thingy and you get to play in an MMO as if you were the character. Only there's a mad guy in charge of it and after 2000 enter it he reveals that he won't let them out unless they beat the game, and if they die in the game, they die in real life.
Sansaid: i must say, i am rather looking forward to artificially inflating my post count. i hope there shall follow many intellectual and gripping discussions. assuming that's the sort of thing this thing is for. Anything can happen
But first we need furniture. Tomorrow I shall drag that bean bag Ice Crush got me and bring it here!
Me neither, never talk to anyone about it. Was weird going to Cambridge back in march to visit Jagex and talking about rs in the taxi and on the train... But now everyone I know knows I play it and they were like "oh cool I used to play that "
Heritagesaid: Around 120m and I moved like 70m over to RS3 not long ago to make money for bonds there to also sell to clanmembers .
Duoed a hilt last week anyway, a good 31m split. Bonds are actually pretty cheap if you can find someone to swap. It's like 500k-1m per bond depending on the rate. If you moved 70m to RS3 then you must be loaded there
LV2said: @ScapeRune. Oh cool you went up there, were you nervous?
What kind of things would I even do at RF? Bear in mind, I don't play RS3. I tweeted Mat K today asking if RF would be good for Old School only players, response "hell yes" Yea... a bit, the whole thing was kinda surreal though lol
And I saw your tweet too, was hoping mat would say a bit more than that :/
I'm done with fishing for the moment. Since I'm 99 in it I did that fishing thing for the clan cup, but turns out the whole thing failed due to a technical error so I spent an hour fishing junk for no gain whatsoever and it was all in vain lol. I'm just doing afk nmz these days when I have other stuff to do and then head to castle wars whenever I can.
And kingdom is okay, it makes about 150k per day on average I think so 1m/week. I don't really do it for the cash so much as to have maples for bank skilling and herbs to keep my potion supplies stocked up.
Edit: Oh after subtracting 75k per *a that's like 500k per week then... lol

Sansaid: if anyone would like a contrasting tale of luck I just got 7 rashers from a 6 pack of bacon Reminds me of the days when I used to take a packed lunch to school and have these little packs of mini jaffa cakes and there were supposed to be 6, but sometimes you'd get 7 and it would make the rest of the day awesome!
Yea the invincibility glitch... that's a weird one. I'm not even sure if anyone knows how to force it, just seems to affect random people.
There's also an age old glitch where you can start the game at the other team's flag and get a ninja score right at the start. That one is quite well know but fortunately doesn't really get abused much.
What gives a random group of people the right to have their own world? If this is the case, I want my own world as well. It's not a right by any means, but it was nice of the OSRS team to listen to the concerns of the castle wars community and do this.
finally got 60agil, and my 2nd grace piece. Hopefully i can get the full set soon Niceee I've still only got some bits of it myself but I think I wanna buy the amylase with the rest of my marks, those stamina pots look handy
Yea is it weak to stab? I seem to recall that from where.. Anyhow that's what I used there. I was running around in graceful gear and a hasta and pray flicking but it still killed my run energy without stamina pots.
Oh how was the spawn time since the update to that? Did ya still have to world hop?
Just mindlessly following the fishing spots around with a bunch of other players. No one is conversing, we are all thoughtlessly clicking away with the occasional banking trips. As one fishing spot despawns, another one spawns just inches away, and we all flock towards it in unison.
I thought to myself: "What if these fishing spots are actually the metaphorical bait of the fisherman that is Runescape?"
Nornesaid: I think once you touch the clue its impossible to get a second without it disappearing first. Nah it is possible, I've done that before to get two clues at once but didn't know if it was actually necessary
Trying to get an elite off metal drags atm but leaving this hard clues feels like a waste :/
We could do some creative things with shields tbh. The elysian and divine spirit shields had the right idea with their special effects, but there's a lot more that could be done than just blocking a % of the damage.
We could have a shield for example that recoiled damage, another that reduced bind times, perhaps a shield that doesn't have huge bonuses but reduces damage if more than one hitsplat shows on you at the same time. There could be shields that healed you, boosted your run restoration, gave you immunity from poison and stat draining. Maybe even a shield that had a chance of reducing your attacker's attack speed by 1 tick temporarily.
World 1 is the main trading world, varrock west bank.
But um... most of the trading these days is done though a fansite zyb (and there's an "ez" after that but it's censored), they have a price guide which allows you to post your buy and sell offers then people pm you or you pm them to met them and trade.

Nornesaid: Thats one thing I think EoC did get right, prayer is absurdly powerful for the like 50k xp you need to use the protection prayers. On the other hand, it is pretty expensive to use unless you go through the effort of flicking it so I think that's a reasonable balance.
Nornesaid: Then its balanced for a weapon to 1hko so long as its rare? No, I don't like the AGS for that reason. I think it's really unbalanced and is why I really liked claws because they're like a nicely balanced version of a weapon with the same max hit.
Nornesaid: Except Jagex then starts making bosses that just ignore prayer entirely. Yea they started doing that with the um what was it, fight kiln? I like prayer how it is, I think it's more interesting if it does block all styles but instead you just get attacked by more than one style at once so that if you're good you can pray switch between everything coming at you.
Shame you can't simultaneously use and restore run energy. If I'm doing a lot of running I bring stamina pots and super energies to keep my run permanently up so that boost on graceful clothing won't even help anyway.
1m is my goal for now, but it's a long way away. Um yea, quite expensive. There's no warped tortoises in this game dropping noted cabbages, and no GE for people to dump them in to so I actually have to pay people to pick them. I find new players are usually happy to get paid 200k/hr to do some cabbage picking which works out at me spending 200gp per cabbage.
There was a post from Dan somewhere where he said that with last year's focus being skills, next year they're going to start looking at making some really interesting bosses. Definitely looking forward to seeing what comes out of that.
Nornesaid: Motley Cruesaid: Wow looks like everyone's going away. I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be back til Thursday. WOO I get this entire forum all to myself then! Don't count on it, wifi exists everywhere.
Skinlesssaid: When Iron Man mode is released for OSRS can you identify current Iron Man accounts and Brand them as Iron Man accounts? They can't tell because they never kept track of things like whether you have ever traded or not, but they have said at some point that they don't want to not include people who have already put the work in on their own iron man accounts so they'd try to think of something. Not sure how exactly that's even possible though.
Wilsonsaid: Does anyone have experience with using stamina potions and training rc? Specifically making lava runes. I'm wondering if I should bother using super energies alongside stamina potion to cut costs a little though it would be more effort. Doesn't seem worth it unless you diy your stamina pots. Each run is so quick already that having to open the bank an extra time would probably slow you down a fair bit getting to 91.
