ScapeRunesaid: Nornesaid: Except Jagex then starts making bosses that just ignore prayer entirely. Yea they started doing that with the um what was it, fight kiln? I like prayer how it is, I think it's more interesting if it does block all styles but instead you just get attacked by more than one style at once so that if you're good you can pray switch between everything coming at you.
Thermy and the kraken bosses both ignore prayer too
I'm not denying that the spec isn't working as it should, but in this particular revision of runescape it's just way too powerful and you can literally make people smite themselves because they can't even drink a dose of prayer between specs.
I'm going to assume that they nerfed it at some point between 2007 and 2010~ since I never remember the d spear being THIS op.
Essentially mist, You can be 0 hp and if they keep spearing your prayer will still go down regardless that you're "dead". There's also no legitimate way of preventing or getting out of it. If it happens you're dead regardless and lost everything on you.
Yeah okay "don't risk what you can't afford to lose" and stuff, but at that point it's essentially bug abuse in my eyes.
There was a yugioh game on ps2 back in the day which I loved, but it only sold like 1m units worldwide so basically nobody knew about it and I only found out that practically nobody knew about it yesterday.
also, this game is starting to lose its '07' status, i play this game for the fact that its '07' and im not going to lie i did like runescape when it was in its 2010-11 era, i just much prefer the way it is now, on the 07 server
We should probably remove every single update in the past year and a half~ then
ScapeRunesaid: Think they might be considering remove the hidden combat level requirements on tasks. Like dark beasts needing 110 combat.
This is exactly what they would be changing and the way they worded that sentence could have been better. :s inb4 doesn't pass because people think abyssal demon killing req goes to like 60 or something.
Threatsaid: Threatsaid: Lol, I figured I may as well snag both tenses! It'll change back in due time. Although, actually, that depends on whether or not the name I've been after for years gets released in the upcoming batches.
Saxosaid: StarDerpsaid: I think pathetic is 10 people stopping an update nearly 20,000 people want from happening.
Is just me though. It's not 10 people though.. it's thousands
Sure you can look at it the 10 people angle but that's just looking for ways to make it sound worse than it actually is..
And it's like triple the amount of people who want it. You can be like, blegh blegh not 75% huehuehue all you like, but it's outright pathetic that these shields with 74.9% yes votes might fail because of a handful of voters.

And I'm saying it's not op, talking from experience.
It is good content, or it wouldn't be getting 3/4 yes votes right now.
And Idk if you noticed, but we ARE going our own way over here. Just because corp would be added doesn't mean anything has changed about that statement, it means people want corp, and jagex are delivering.
Heritagesaid: StarDerpsaid: I think what Derpage was trying to imply is, there will be no turmoil/ss/ovls/gano for the foreseeable future, so corp will actually be HARD. He just derped up with the example.
I corped before ANY of those were even out and it was still very easy to kill, almost no challenge at all.
My point still stands.
If you're going to lie, at least do it convincingly.
What's the point in grinding for so long to get stuff when one server dc later you have to do it all over again :x I realise rs is a grind based game, but still sucks to lose so much work in such a short amount of time lol.
Nornesaid: Mithril Jedisaid: How come such big changes are allowed to happen in oldschool but the convenience of summoning and dungeoneering have no place in oldschool because the impact would be too big. Talk about failed logic !
Conv..what!? Dungeoneering and Summoning were huge game changers for RS. Bossing literally was not worth it without at least the tortoise but it became a joke with the Yak\Titan set up. Dungeoneering up till the release of Kalphite King was a requirement for Bossing as well.
I bossed with plenty of people that had low levels in both of those stats They were hardly "Requirements", just made it easier for the person with said levels.
I mean, yeah, for nex you sort of needed both, but that was endgame gear for an endgame boss :/

Wilsonsaid: Oh yeah I'd also like to learn how to dh pk. A friend of mine who was a former leader of a big pking clan went some rounds with me and gave me lots of tips but I'm sure there is still so many little things I should know. If I get really good I could even pk skill specs for some juicy 3a
Awarded to someone who is synonymous with the RuneScape community, this is a real testament to this person's dedication to making RuneScape an awesome place to be. Are they constantly running amazing events? A clan leader who will do everything to ensure their clanmates are supported in everything they do?
Are they raising money for charity within RuneScape
? Do they spend their time helping new players get used to the game? Do they tirelessly run an RS fansite, or are they
