Jagex mentioned on a Q&A that they might one day put out polls that only ironmen can vote on. Suggestion: give all players the chance to vote on whether or not they want these ironman only polls to ever occur.
Thanks in advance.Forum Help

Speaking of that, we need PKer and/or pure only polls too. However, PKers and pures actually serve a purpose other than a delusional challenge that's been babied down (as in they want to enjoy a certain part of the game rather than try to hinder themselves intentionally and beg for catering as a result). Therefore, these polls should qualify as an integrity fix. I'd like you to address this matter as well.
Things that affect ironmen affect real accounts too.
Thats like saying "let's have it so only normal accoutns can affect ironman polls"
btw...i have an HCIM account and im totally against this.
If you play as an ironman, pure, whatever you VOLUNTARILY choose to limit your account and your play-style, these playstyles are different to normal accounts and go against the way the game was intended to be played, therefore there should NOT be special considerations made to ironmen.....if you don't like the difficulty and the limitations of doing content designed for the normal players on an ironman account?
Then ironman isn't for you.
The entire challenge of ironman is do to the content built for normal players all by yourself....adding in ironmen polls and giving them the ability to pick and choose what updates affect them goes against that entire principal, is selfish, and just completely destroys the entire purpose of playing ironman.
DaddyAlexsaid: Since you don't have a reason, I take it you don't have an argument besides your selfish easyscape desire.I have a reason. If that reason is not self-evident to you, then I think it's not really worth trying to explain to you, as you'd never understand. You just label everyone who disagrees with your terrible ideas as an "easyscaper."
I'll try anyway:
If only the groups affected are the ones allowed to vote on those issues, they are inevitably going to vote in their own self-interest. However, because this is an MMO, and because so many things are linked together, what seemingly might only affect Ironmen also affects the rest of the player base in some way.
You might also end up with questions that offer unfair advantages to that group of people. A radical example might be "should every Ironman start with a Twisted Bow in their bank?" It's obviously a change that very likely wouldn't pass, but such a ridiculously unfair advantage being given to Ironmen only capable of being answered by Ironmen is a really bad idea. Obviously everyone would want to vote on that issue.
It also opens the door to other similarly defined groups asking for targeted polling, such as PvPers being the only ones able to answer changes that affect PvP despite the fact non-PvPers would have to suffer the consequences of those changes, as well. An example might be the duration of Teleblock being changed. It's a PvP change, so only PvPers would be able to vote, even though non-PvPers would be affected by it.
Allowing everyone to vote on every issue helps to keep each group in check, making sure that each group doesn't just vote ridiculously gamebreaking things in every time. It allows for each group to say "I don't want you to have that," so that the only things that actually pass are things all the groups can actually agree on.I'll keep score from now on.
