Hey guys! When we first learned about the Sixth-Age, Mod Osborne mentioned something about a god who we have never heard of and the name of said god is on the World Map.

For a while now, we haven't heard anything else about it. Some may have forgotten about and while other may have thought it was trashed. However, after a quick tweet to Mod Osborne, we now know it is still going to happen.

@JagexOsborne are there still plans for the god or goddess we don't know about, but its name is on the map?

@Ice3317 yes! Plans hit a bump as projects changed, but they are still on the cards

So I want to bring this discussion back. What name do you think is the God/Goddess name?

I do not think it is Queen of Ashes, as we may have had confirmation about that. Plus we have no knowledge that she has ever steeped foot on Gelinor. And it isn't Xau-Tak.

I personally think the name is either Kharzi, Karamja, or Kharidian (or something similar) It could also mark out all of the Desert, as I think we know all of the Desert Pantheon. We still have the Camel God unnamed, but I do not think it is that, as we have had no knowledge about the god who's name is on the map.

I would say Ikov, but I think it was confirmed that Ikov was a high ranking member who follows Armadyl by Mod Osborne.
Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.

Did he really say it's a god we haven't heard of yet? If so, it could really be anyone. There was talk of there being a pantheon of Karamjan gods at one point but I doubt they'll introduce more than one at this point. If not, Tumeken (Kharid means body of the sun), Elidinis, and Marimbo all come to mind as possibilities.

Isn't Akthanakos the "Camel God"? Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

If it's the Karamjan God, my bet is they're called Khazari.

I don't have the quotes on me atm, but in the last 3 years or so, Mod Osborne talked about upcoming gods a few times, and occasionally mentioned the Karamjan god, and that the Karamjan god would have some importance in future story.
I'm too Unaligned to have a forum signature.

It could have been Gielinor.

Nice thought but Osborne said it's still going to happen.

Just to say this is from Twitter. He says it's still on the cards, which makes sense they have done some work there is no point in throwing it away.

Imo I would rather not see it involved in the current 6th age stuff and save it for later. It feels like we have enough gods to be going on with without introducing a one off appearance and then death by some random god.

Yeah I don't think they will appear until after Sliske's Endgame. Unless he/she ends up being the one to take the Stone in the end. And as stated, I literally just asked this a few days ago, long after Nomad's Elegy.

This is what I was thinking, but after going back through some of the lore, it said that he was only mistaken as one. I have not yet read the book from the Camel Warriors, so I am unaware if they confirmed if there is truly a camel god or not. However, Mod Osborne said that there was no plans for a Camel God, so the name on the map probably isn't it.

Yeah he said there was one we have yet to heard of, even so, we have met all the gods currently. Marimbo we talked to. Tumeken we heard of a while ago. Elidinis we have indirectly talked to? Can't remember. This is one reason I do not think it is part of the Desert Pantheon because we have heard of all of them.

This is probably the best bet. Karamjan needs a lot of development I think. So it may be a while before the god who's name is on this map appears, if it is indeed them. He said near the start that one would play as a center of upcoming continent, but a lot of things have changed, so it may have been pushed back.

I think the last true Karamjan quest was My Arm's Big Adventure or Legend's Quest. It has been a very long time since we had quests there. I know One of a Kind and Hero's Return had small pieces, but that was for just in the dungeon where dragons were.
