First - How can gods die?

Why did you make it so that you are killing off the gods one by one...

I did not like it when Bandos died, or Guthix.

I am worried about the next battle and who will die next.

All gods but the elders can die but it's really hard for any mortal. Usually, you either have to have a lot more power or utilize an elder artefact, though.

If the godless get their way, all gods will die. I'm hoping the godless DON'T get their way, they're too narrowminded for the good of Gielinor. Anyways, Guthix dying was necessary to advance RS into the more interactive, epic story of the Sixth Age, and Bandos died because players chose they would prefer Armadyl over Bandos. It's probably a good thing, though, because eliminating Bandos is one step closer to peace on Gielinor.

Honestly, we should be less focused on the next battle among the younger gods and more focused on what will happen when the elders fully wake up.

Do you want an in-universe answer or an out of universe answer? I'll give you both. In-universe they can be killed by a ridiculous amount of power, elder artifact, or if for some reason they purposefully make their body defenceless.

Out of universe? For some reason people have this misconception that gods are supposed to be completely immortal (I blame monotheism). That's not true at all! Read mythology, gods die all the time! Greek mythology's god view is not the norm (from what I've seen) and even then there's a few minor gods that die in that too from what I can remember

As for the rest I agree that the 6th age shouldn't have been started with the "god death" premise. It's not that I think it should never happen, but it shouldn't have been the "punchline" of the 6th age. Now they've built it up so people are expecting them to kill them all off over time, it's terrible. They're some of the most iconic and interesting characters in the game. If it serves the story in a good way I could be fine with it but at the moment none of them are really suited to die.

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?

I would like to point out that's not entirely true. Kara mostly is the one responsible for this level of murderous intent against the Gods and some players mistakenly believe she is the leader. She isn't, the actual leader is an ex-druid with a more peaceful and diplomatic mind set.

And while some agree with her, you'll find a lot of Godless players don't actually agree with Kara Meir either.

The God Wars stretch far beyond Gielinor, this is just the latest battlefield in a line of broken worlds and extinct civilisations. The humans of Gielinor were in danger of going the same way, they not only bounced back but have gone from strength to strength since. Now they stand as the dominant species on Gielinor, where once they were nothing more than surfs and cannon fodder for the God Wars. The wars have to be stopped, though we have far larger problems than a god throwing another temper tantrum and blowing up half the planet (The Wilderness) at present.

The last real God Wars level human Vs monster showdown will come in Rivers of Blood. The Myreque finale due out in April.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Gods dying off like files, that kind of thing ended with Bandos, though V was chosen purely becuase he was not that well known. 2 more Gods are waiting in the wings at this very moment. The Queen of Ashes and the Xau-Tak the God of Horrors.

WOW~! Good answers.

Will we have to play another 10 years to finish the story?

In the end when all is said and done, where do you think they will go with this?

Winner take all? Chaos filled or peace filled.. most likely peace filled.

Not true, Not all the gods will die. NOT all the Godless want them dead. They just want them gone from Gielinor. That phrase could be forced to leave, or to die.

RS gods have been killable for ages! Like how Zamorak ascended (But it was later revealed that Zaros wasn't dead)

If I remember correctly elders cannot be killed but can die.
NO
I do not ship ZamorakxZaros.
I follow them. And Marimbo, the best t5 god.
