It'd be healthier for the game, sure - but the thing is, if Jagex cared about the health of the game, they'd be better off removing TH altogether. In their eyes, adding bonds as a replacement to the gp prize would not only make the prize less lucrative (2 bonds don't make up more than 1/5th of the 200m gp in terms of gp value), which would make people less interested in buying keys, but it'd also increase the bond supply coming to the game, which in turn would also decrease bond purchases with real money.
"As for forktails, bait them thusly: pound a stake in the soil, bind a goat to it, then hide ye in nearto shrubbery posthaste."
I have personally not know anyone on my friends list or any clan that I have joined win the 200m from TH, I have only ever seen "Afriend" win it during a YouTube video where he spent 4k(Could be a little off with details) in real life money.
I am not doubting that if I type in on Youtube 200m treasure hunter, I will get a good few pages worth of people winning.
I don't think it has ever had an affect on the economy, people are making that now in a few hours with "flipping/merching" across multiple accounts with the stacks people have.

I wouldn't want to replace the 200m gp simply because I hope to win it one day. But have an event with non-tradable bonds would be cool. Or fragmented bonds so one could piece the bond together to get a full bond.
