Rossmallosaid: At the very least, they haven't made this stronger since it's last iteration, and they didn't pre-game it with Prismania, so - as uncomfortable as I feel for giving it a slight pass - on the sliding scale of how bad this is, this is on the mid-lower end.
EXP-selling like this is still reprehensible, but at least the power creep is not advancing. For now.
You're forgetting that this is more OP than smouldering lamps, and smouldering lamps is already very OP. Sure you get less exp per lamp on one skill, but you get 20% more exp overall, which is huge if you're e.g. going for 5.4b. Even though this wasn't made more OP than the last time, it's still very bad on the "scale of how bad this is".
Exit Woundsaid: any1 i try to bring to RS they end up quitting after the first month because its "too hard" or "too much of a grind"
If people learn that being lazy is okay and that they can just solve every problem they have by throwing money at it, they'll never bother trying for real. Sooner or later they'll come across with problems that they can't solve by just tossing money, and then what will they do? > )
Exit Woundsaid: i laugh at the argument ppl make "oh let them have stats they dont even know how 2 use" .. all it takes is a quick google/youtube search on how to be effecient or what the best method is
It's not that simple, there's so much game knowledge to absorb that even people like myself, who have spent thousands of hours in this game, still learn new things about old content every now and then. When people buy their way past dozens of hours of gameplay, it'll take them time to catch up, and sometimes it can lead to more costly mistakes than if they had experienced them earlier. Reading wikia, watching videos etc does help of course, but not all information is out there, some of it is wrong and some of it is outdated.
