Loving the rework! Look forward to seeing it live once all the necessary tweaks were made.

I don't believe Camelot should be larger in terms of adding a town to it, but maybe adding a few buildings here and there would make it look nicer.

Of course, Seer's Village on the other hand looks fantastic and I can't wait to see it in its complete reworked state.

While I do like some elements of the Seers' Village Rework's layout, there are some elements that I'd prefer to be different. Here's my version of the village's layout.

Most notably, I'd prefer to have Seers' Village more compact. This makes the village look more like a village, and introduces a lot more new land at the outskirts of Seers' Village, more clearly separating it from Catherby and Hemenster.

The hops patch is also moved inside the village: I always thought it was odd for the hops patch to be so far away from the rest of the village.

Also, McGrubor's Woods should probably be reduced in size and moved a bit north in order to make the borders of Seers' Village and Hemenster more clear-cut.

.

King Arthur and his knights got the castle from the Sinclair family when they came to Runescape. It's not like Arthur owns any lands or rules anyone in Runescape. I really don't think it'd make much sense for it to be a town of its own.

I know, I've done the quest. :P To me it makes less sense to have a castle without a township, especially when it was just the Sinclairs living there.

The only other exeamples of town-less castles in RS are the Kinshras, a Mahjarrats and the ruined ones in the wilderness. They make some sense because of the secretive nature of their owners, or because they had a town, before the wilderness became the wilderness.
Hi.:P
Clan Owned Ports thread.

So far so good! I like the idea of having the courthouse attached right next to the castle. It makes more sense that way.

Also, I would personally prefer Seer's Village to be a little more compact, so if the spacious area can be reduced it would feel a lot more vibrant :)

While you are working in this area could you please re-birth the Unicorn that was needlessly slaughtered for the sake of an ugly pile of molten slag White Wolf Mountain.

That update was the second time that one of a breeding pair of unicorns was summarily killed off and if this trend continues they will soon truly be extinct.

The first occasion was some time ago, when one of the pair east of Barbarian Village was also needlessly slaughter for what I can only assume was the placement of an Elder tree. Feel free to re-birth that poor Unicorn as well if you want to.

I'm glad to see that you intend to retain a "village" feel to this rework unlike the village destruction that occurred in another recent so called "update", also please do not use a suggestion that someone else made about adding market stalls. The continuous hollering of a vendor about his veg & bananas might be atmospheric as you run through an area but it is a downright pain in the arse if you are skilling nearby. Or, make the noisy vendor attackable with a really slow re-spawn rate, so that we can shut the irritating, noisy bugger up.

Could you please put the spinning wheel very, very close to the bank so it's actually worth using? Maybe put it on the first floor of the bank? That way, combined with the seers village task rewards, we'll finally have a semi-viable way to process the immense amounts of flax many people have from PvM that aren't worth processing due to significantly faster ways to obtain bowstring (temple trekking).

Please? :/

Yes please! With a cherry on top! And please don't make us run up the stairs to spin. That's just cruel.

In the picture, I've moved the church & farmers house, + added a couple of extra buildings for Seers Village. I then had room to add a dividing wall an extra path, and some buildings / market stalls for Camelot.

A spinning wheel could be added to the farmers house, so flax spinning would stay roughly the same distance from a bank. A few extra yew trees could be added to make up for moving the church.
I like that tbh :O

Is there a reason this thread wasn't pinned to page 1 for a week or so, in order for everyone to be able to view it and provide feedback. Even a few days would have been good, since it was posted smack in the middle of DXP weekend.

+1 to Aquamancer's layout. I like it for many of the same reasons: it's compact, but still has all of the necessary buildings; the compactness makes it clear that it is a place distinct from both Camelot and Hemenster.

It may be beyond the scope of the rework, but I also like the idea mentioned earlier in the thread of adding a woodcutting guild and placing the crystal tree inside the new guild.
