This one isn't out yet right? Can we expect it next week?

That's the plan. John will first be checking whether I've written it correctly.

Almost complete....just have to make it so we can trade straight through the trading post. Tired of wasting my time finding a person and hopping to other worlds etc... There is no interaction other than a thank you or very little else said during these trades. Please make it so we can trade straight through and not have to meet the person, make our own prices and make it easier to sell little inexpensive items without standing around forever and wasting valuable game time. Put the scammers out of business!

^ This. It's not worth going through the trouble of selling inexpensive items as it stands now. I support Trading Post upgraded to Grand Exchange status 100%. (Also, Grand Exchange access in every bank!)

Completely disagree. The Grand Exchange made getting items for quests way too easy. It also takes away the difficulty or time in obtaining everyday items. For me that difficulty created a sense of immersion, something which got ripped away again and again in rs3 with the G.E, tool belt and then unlimited teleportation to major cities.

The GE also made training buyables/Slayer significantly more convenient. With our current trading system, low leveled players trying to complete quests can be disadvantaged if the required item is not easy to obtain. Examples of items that a low level player can't just acquire in minutes include soul runes, nature talismans, death talismans, and various combination runes.

If you played OSRS more, you would realise that automatic trading benefits all types of players.

Trading while online only would be fantastic if you could trade via the post. This does nothing but make me go to the post, I can access zybez anywhere I want to on runescape.

A cool feature for the next poll could be to display what your friends are selling on the front page of the Trading Post before you go to the search items/sell items button.

You say convenient and I say the quest was designed for it not to be convenient. Why should the quest be convenient? I don't agree.

Was and will continue to be against the cancer that is automated trading, but the opening the trade screen through the trading post sounds like a worthwhile and promising compromise, and I hope is polled before we are pushed auto/offline trading like we were Artisan.

Also, Ash, does this mean we have have lootshare, surely now with a centralized trading system you can track rough values of items through listings or listings that lead to completed trades?

Why should quests be needlessly inconvenient? A lack of automatic trading is a needless inconvenience, and the only reason we don't have it is because some players cling to an archaic notion that inconvenient game mechanics should be ubiquitous in OSRS.
