question: will you be able to buy bonds on accounts that havent played for 24 hours ingame?

They still have in-game trading restrictions; these apply to bonds as much as to anything else.

Will OSRS bonds work for purchasing the premier membership package that gets released at the end of the year?

Um... Sorry, no idea. Hopefully more details will be firmed up nearer the time.

Is it possible to give/trade bonds to an ironman account?

KingCpt said:
Update suggestion: Please allow us to 'use' a bond on a player, similar to so i can buy bonds on my main and use them on my ironman

We did. You can use a bond on another player to give it as a free gift. This works for giving bonds to Iron Men, or to anyone else you like.

Could you please make it so that people who haven't been online for 24 hours being able to buy bonds for the ge or trade them? because i know some people who doesn't play because of the limit and i would love to get them some bonds :)

Can Ironmen/women buy bonds on the Grand Exchange?

I'm afraid players who can't trade for either of those reasons cannot buy things on the GE.

We've given you an alternative method to give bonds to Iron Man accounts without trading, and I reckon we'll be able to reduce the 24-hr thing for new accounts soon.

No, the bond pouches are not linked.

We'd like to put that out this summer, although it's hard to gauge the work required for an update like that.

Where can I purchase the bonds? I don't see them on the old school runescape website.

You will not be able to buy bonds for around an hour as the systems need some time to sync.

then why add bonds if we bought them for are rs3 acc too gain membership too old school.

Membership of one game gives you membership of the other automatically. If you redeem your RS3 bonds in RS3 to buy membership, you are gaining membership of OSRS.

Could you provide more details as to why Chrome will not be supporting Java anymore? A bit of Googling hasn't really turned up much and I'm wondering why such a thing would be implemented.

Jagex isn't really in a position to comment on what Google does or doesn't choose to do with their own browser.

Fortunately our downloadable client means you can keep playing anyway. It might even be good for stability, since people will more likely to be using the same version of Java to play the game once they're using our client rather than whatever version of Java their browser's calling.

Ash wtf.. WHY are they 2m?! That's so expensive!

Coins in OSRS are a bit harder to get than coins in RS3; the games' economies are very different.

Remember, you can ignore the suggested prices and offer whatever you like on the GE. If you think it's not worth 2m, don't offer 2m.

Question: Do bonds give the same amount of subscription time as a normal subscription fee would provide?

I wonder because prices for membership seem lower through bonds now (:

Thanks

The number of days you can get for redeeming bonds is displayed on the screen when you're redeeming them. I'm not sure how the billing team determines the relative prices of these things though.

Will Ironman accounts ever get access to bonds? Ironman accounts should at least be able to put items/gp into a GE "coffer" or "buffer" till it adds up to a value of a bond and then trades for ONLY A BOND. You couldn't get anything except a bond back, which you could trade with no one. I see no issue with that but envision lots of design issues with the "wiggle room" on pricing.

Intriguing idea. I like it in principle, though I agree about the design issues.

For now, Iron Man accounts can receive bonds as gifts. To give a bond as a gift, the donor must USE it on the target player.

When trying to destroy the Bunny Feet the dialogue shows Bunny Ears instead. I assume it's because you used the same prompt from the Bunny Ears instead of making a new one.

All the "do you wish to destroy?" messages use the same interface. I guess it's showing the wrong picture here.

Loved the easter event, good job! :) The text that the Easter Bunny bought the ghost buster for a million gold gave me a good laugh. Also good job on the music part, loved it.

Thank you!

Do you guys have any plans for implementing any other services for bonds?

We said that membership bonds were required for Jagex to be able to offer permanent F2P, and that's what we polled. If you'd like more features from them in future polls, do let us know what you have in mind. (For the record, I don't believe this community would ever vote to accept anything like Treasure Hunter keys - for which I am grateful - so let's not go there.)

Will a pre-paid runescape card work with this update?

The pre-paid cards currently give bonds to your RS3 account, not OSRS.

You can then go into RS3 to redeem them for membership, and the membership would be valid for OSRS as well as RS3, but you might find it inconvenient to do that if you're not familiar with RS3.

Is there a chocolate pet or any other reward than easter egg/chocolate dust. I have gotten the message "You have no received all the rewards you can gain from killing these critters." making me think there may not even be a pet.

In the storeroom, you can get 5 Easter eggs and 5 chocolate dust.
If the pet had passed the poll, we'd have put that in there too, but it didn't.

Hi, this problem with the redeemable cards is concerning. I just used my cards to purchase bonds, only to have to find out through the forums that I have to go to RS3 to redeem them...

Anyways, is there anyway I can get my bonds on OSRS ASAP?

The Support team said they can swap them over. Click here.
