This is all good stuff but I just want xp drops :(

Yeah, I made a start on that last week in a spare evening. But unfortunately I've had to put it aside for a while due to other jobs. I look forward to being back on it soon, once that tournament thing's prepared.

Although I don't think we specified anything about setting XP goals in the blog, it's getting that feature too because I've always thought it should.

Is the Fairy Ring C-L-R?

Yes, I thought I'd just keep the RS3 code because there wasn't a pressing reason to make you all guess another one. The MOTW will list C-L-R too.

Slayer task rework- when is it coming out?

We don't have a specific date in mind for any particular part of the Slayer updates. They'll come in batches across the summer.

ape toll fairy ring plz no training, why does jagex hate pures?

When we polled the ability for pures to return to Ape Atoll without getting that XP, it failed. Indeed, everything we've ever polled that would make things nicer for pures has tended to fail. So we have not made this fairy ring sneakily bypass the restriction.

Will you ever poll soul wars? Been waiting atleast 2 years now

There are lots of things people want for which they've had to wait 2+ years. As a rule, recreating RS3 content is a very slow job, since the models need adapting and recreating manually. The Corp, for example, took several weeks despite only having about 9 models. Soul Wars has hundreds.

While we don't mind spending a long time on an update, you'd have to bear in mind that nothing else could be done while we were all working on that. And we get a lot of other requests. So we're unlikely to assign that much dev time to recreating a RS3 minigame; there would likely be more beneficial uses for the time.

Especially as not everyone wants OSRS to copy RS3.

This update only made dropping clue scroll more hard lol :) Why not put it in examine info or something

Sadly we can't currently override the examine info for an item in your inventory because it uses an old-style interface. That's also why the examine text for a stack doesn't use comma separators ("1,234,567") in your standard inventory panel, but it can when you're looking at a different interface.

My elite clue in bank says i've completed 0 steps, I completed 3 steps pre-update yesterday, will submit a bug report shortly.

It can't count steps done from before the update because it wasn't counting before the update.

It's rather like the boss kill logs, where you might have killed a million dust devils before we added the counter, but the counter has to start from 0.

Could you please poll it again...

Pure-friendly updates really don't have a good record of passing polls. Asking the same one over and over again only makes sense if the community's attitude appears to be changing. On this, it doesn't, and we have things to poll that have a better chance of passing.

...or just do it without polling...

No.

when can remove storing limit of clues?

Clue data is stored on the player, not on the clue. As long as that's the case, we're not going to be able to let you have arbitrary numbers of clues.
