You can take your stockpiled fire capes to the master and gamble them straight away.

An adventurer log is a big job for the web team. That team has much to do, which is why we've had to wait a long time for today's GE pages - plus that was a really big job too, since they were giving us so many nice features.
We're still waiting for some changes to polls, involving the change to the voting reqs that you guys voted for months ago. Until we've got that, I'm not keen to queue up more things there.
How do I disable total XP (or skill XP) but still keep XP drops?
I don't want to see any big numbers in the screen, just the XP drops.
Sorry, it has many options and toggles, but not that one.
If you set the size to the smallest, and put it on the left or right, the bar might be less intrusive for you.
Can we get a closest to goal added in to xp drops later on?
I don't mind adding more options in future, but that sounds like a rather odd one.
Maybe it'd be helpful to show the 'remaining XP' for goals on the setup menu where it lists what goals you've got set for each skill. That way you could just look at it and choose a skill accordingly.

LootShare is something I want to see polled soon. Mind you, as long as people keep asking for lots of other things, projects like that may keep getting held back.

Apparently they have no idea why people use XP drops. I swear majority of the people only use XP drops to see hits and approximate ticks beforehand.
In fact I am aware that that's the bit you're interested in. However I had expected that you'd be okay with there being additional info on the screen at the same time. Clearly I was wrong.
Could we get toggles for the xp counter and skill icons along with the option to use xp drops without needing data orbs to be on?
If you turn off those buttons by the minimap, to make the gameframe look more like its pristine 2007 version, you're also hiding the XP drops control button, so there'd be no way to turn XP drops off and on again.
Australian worlds would be neat too.
I'm sure. However you'll have noticed it's a big enough job getting the existing network to be more DDOS-resilient - expanding to Australia isn't going to help just now. Especially as RuneScape's found over the years that many Australian players got better connections to the USA than to any servers we hosted in Australia.

Yes, there's lots of Slayer stuff we polled that hasn't come out yet. It doesn't mean we've quietly cancelled it just because it wasn't in the first batch of Slayer updates!
That boss is due in September.
Not quite sure if this a RS related issue, or could be OSBuddy. When ever clicking near the near side on the minimap is forces the map to point north.
We haven't released that feature yet. Perhaps the OSBuddy developers are working on it independently.

Well, that info is available in Stats menu, offline sources, etc. I don't see it being relevant to the actual gameplay of staying in 100 BPM rhythm of RS.

There is "Off" option for progress bar but no such option for counter. I'd myself prefer just to see tracking features when hoovering over XP-orb.
Interesting. That might be possible, though it'd be kinda peculiar for players who've set the droplets to be in the middle or on the left.

Mod Ash, could we possibly get a 5 second option for the XP drop vanish? 3 Seconds feels too short and 10 seconds feels too long.
More options can be added.
Bear in mind that any dev time spent adding more options here will be dev time not spent on everything else players want. So it's worth considering whether you really want the extra feature you're requesting, or whether it'd be nice but not a priority.
Well, my assumption was that adding an option for 5 seconds would be a rather quick fix, considering the coding for 3 and 10 seconds is already there.
Tacking extra options on at the bottom is easy - and if people want another 8 colour options we can do it very easily indeed. Inserting another option in the middle of the existing would involve rejigging the code that's drawing the menu.
What I meant is that XP drops are relevant to the gameplay ~0.6s ticks, i.e. in keeping up with the 100 BPM rhythm....

Yes. Maz has coded that task pretty much like any other task, so all Slayer features should be inherited by default.

A sysadmin told me. Actually, Andrew said it once back in the days before we had a lot of sysadmins. Numbers were not quoted at the time, but since Jagex tends to track the usage of server hosting for business reasons, I'd have expected them to be correct about the trends.

Perhaps you could add a rainbow colour option, where the text would quickly flash in really trippy colours. That would certainly stop any potential future complaints about the numbers being difficult to see

Also joking aside, I've gone with pale colours that work well with the black drop-shadows that RS text gets. It wasn't just an excuse to write obscure colour names.

Oh, and loving the whole of the update, minus not understanding why we should be able to be attacked while fighting a clue's zamorak wizard in the wilderness.
Thanks. Seems the Zamorak wizard thing was quite popular with people who didn't care about doing the clue but just wanted to be able to get locked into combat with a relatively tame enemy, so they couldn't be PKed while they waited for a teleblock to expire.
The wizard himself was already capable of stealing you from combat with an existing foe, so it's slightly poetic justice for him that you can be stolen away again.

Being on task when you kill Jad gives you an increased chance of receiving a Jad pet as he dies.
Being on task when you gamble your fire cape has no effect.
