Is it possible to have all 3 god max capes at once?

That doesn't seem to have changed, although I imagine there've always been tricks involving dropping items to get around the old rule.

2 questions:

... neither of which appears to be related to the update, but okay :P

When the skillcape update comes out, will the agility cape give the full graceful set bonus?
Can we poll agility so that having a higher level allows you to run for a longer period of time? (it is called AGILITY after all)

1. That's what I think the blog was trying to say, although it's a little bit vague.

2. I think that'd be possible, though others may prefer us not to make herblore less useful for all the various potions that help with energy, such as stamina potions.

Any details on what firemaking level will be required on zeah continent during raids next year?

No, we have not yet designed the raids.

a re-sizable interface should really take priority over more capes

Different staff can do different things. Ian's work on scaling up the interfaces is something that only he (and the engine team) can do, whereas Maz was able to repaint the capes herself.

To clairfy. Does HP insurance make it so you never lose any hp xp or just does it make it so you still lose xp but you can't fall below a certain level?

It makes you lose XP, but you can't fall below a certain level.

Couldn't you have just planted a yew tree to the Varrock palace tree patch for the diary task?

Don't really see why you have to change the diary task just because now it requires farming as well

We could have been harsh about it, but on this occasion chose not to be. A high Woodcutting level is generally easier to get than a high Farming level.

skillcapes is devs time waste

Eh, different people like different kinds of updates. For you that update may be a waste of our time, whereas I've had people complaining to me that it hadn't come out sooner. Hopefully there'll be something in an update soon that interests you.

I checked items lost on death and it still shows me losing 50% xp. Not skulled atm

Ah, perhaps the display isn't updating based on your skull status. We'll take a look at that.

It just seems a bit strange that herblore has a bigger impact on agility than agility does( in terms of running). If would make more sense for agility.... To affect agility and not herblore to fix agility's uselessness.

Agility already affects how fast your energy restores. Although it doesn't feel different from one level to the next, it does make a fair difference over the 99 levels.

While one might design Agility differently if one were making an evolved version of RuneScape today, I would prefer not to create Herblore's uselessness while addressing Agility's :)

As for the Ava's Accum, I do realise you sampled the colours from it, but... It just always had really dull colours and isn't very iconic...

I have that problem whenever I'm putting it in a welcome screen message :(

You mean to say that we will stay at lvl 75 hp even if the Exp drops below what is needed for 75 hp?

No, you lose XP all the way down to the minimum for 75 HP, and you stay on that amount of XP.

So nardah is guarded now ?

We changed the statue there to make it restore run energy along with health. We also adjusted the spam filtering of some of its messages. We did not change anything about the guards in the area.

So any chance we could get an Iron Man icon next to our name sometime soon? (like the key skulls in deadman)

Yes, we can do that. In fact we offered that kind of thing back when Iron Man was being designed, but it seemed massively unpopular at the time, so we dropped the matter.

Yeah I think it's unpopular because then it would be easier for trolls to know who's an Iron Man, and then troll them with combat related activities.

Makes sense. Well, we're not pushing the matter either way.

I know a great solution to this problem: Make it toggable :)

Given that some of the opposition back then was from people who didn't want to see the icon, and didn't like Iron Man accounts getting "special treatment", we'd end up with a toggle to control whether you see other people's icons, and a toggle to control whether other people are permitted to see your icon...

Or we could just move on to some other topic.

Could we figure out a compromise then? Make 99 agility allow you to run 25% longer than level 1? That way stamina pots would remain useful, and agility would give a slight boost.

I imagine there's a compromise to be found, though you should note that your energy restoration rate really does increase with Agility.

If the skillcape update gives the agility cape the full graceful set effect (weight reduction + increased restore) then that alone would make 99 a decent level to get.

I thought I already confirmed that.

what have you done with imp defenders in puro puro .. they are glitched .. and free jars non stop

Imp defenders have always seemed more active for a short while after reboots; that's been going on for years. I've never found a cause for it, though it's rather likely that this is their "intended" behaviour, and there's actually a bug making them less active over time.

I see, so I'm assuming you wouldn't poll that again?

We never actually polled it in the first place, given how unpopular it was. We could poll it now for the first time, though the discussion about toggles earlier suggests that this would turn into a surprisingly big and complicated job for no significant benefit.

Great update! Do you have an estimate as to when the skillcape perks will be released?

Sadly not. John C & Kieren are taking the lead on developing that one, but have not estimated a completion time yet. I don't expect to see it as soon as next week, but perhaps the week after if all goes well.

There is a glitch where you skull without attacking a player in safe zone, and guards kill you out of nowhere. This happened to me and I ended up giving up on deadman mode. Thought it would be in the bug fixes update, but guess not...

I've not heard of that one myself. There's a bug report form in the game if you right-click the 'Report' button. If you'd like a bug fixed, report it there. It sends the messages straight to the testers. Perhaps you can send some info about what made your skull if you didn't attack anyone.

Just pointing something out here, that even AFTER you've insured your hitpoints to a certain level, the "Items lost on death" screen in Deadman mode will still tell you that your hp can drop below that level. Perhaps this should be tweaked? The investment is permanent, after all.

It's getting a bit crowded on that screen, but we can look for some way of reflecting it.
