Even untradeables have a nominal value, though it's about 50gp for this since the clue itself has little direct value. We could perhaps increase that in future.

The logic's straightforward. I wrote that timer thing to be expandable.
The awkward bit is that it'd be more processing for the client to do whenever it renders the chatbox, so it's not going to do your FPS any favours.

Last time this came up, it was pointed out that the MLM is geographically close to the Mining Guild, which is itself distinctly lacking in features, so some kind of mash-up of the two might be possible. With some of the bonus features you've described in this thread.

The Abyssal dagger seems odd to be as fast as the abyssal bludgeon. It seems as if abyssal weapons are faster than normal weapons. Daggers are fast weapons, why not make the abyssal dagger the fastest of them all? It would fill a niche.

It's currently 4 (standard). 3 is supported by the combat system just fine, though the other changes you describe would probably be needed alongside it since that's a significant change.

After last week's change to the damage stacking behaviour from its long animation, it became too powerful, so we released a fairly big nerf on Monday. It was felt that the nerf was a bit too much, so we've adjusted it slightly up again, though not to its previous state.
