If you're going to keep cramming new content into the game at this rate and turning it into something completely different can those of us who liked the game how it was have an old-oldschool? Just the game from 2007 with bug fixes, resizable and some small qol, and MAYBE gwd. That way you'd get rid of all those pesky players voting no to your weird feature creep agenda too

You're in the minority. You realize if this was the case, people would eventually lose interest and stop playing? It'd be almost dead if content had not changed for 4 years.

I am usually a huge fan of the updates that you propose and the creativity that you bring with them, but i find that the majority of updates suggested here are absolutely pointless.

(not making an item sink for the dfs within the new wyverns update is a huge mistake.)

the new shield is also stupidly fucking powerful, it has a slightly smaller amount of magic attack with much more defensive stats than an arcane. Malediction ward will crash, and dfs will continue to crash.

I'm not a very high level player, but the wyvern shield concerns me. I'll list a few pros and cons.
PROS
- (Possibly) cheaper, alternative shield with more uses.
- Acts as antiwyvern shield (though not listed if it absorbs


CONS
- Most defensive stats are superior to the Arcane spirit shield,surpassing all defensive stats except range(only when full) which concerns me. It will demotivate people to go for arcane sigils. Magic attack bonus of Arcane is +20, while the new shield is +18. The mage book itself is +15, but no defensive stats. Maybe tweak the attack bonus from it a bit, or slightly increase the Arcane shield to let it stay relevant

- The 66 Slayer requirement is pretty low for a creature wih such valuable drops. Skeletal Wyverns require 72 slayer, so it would be a great idea if it's something in the 80s.

Furthermore, I like the design of the wyvern, but could there be more than 1 colored wyvern? Would light up the place a bit as well.

Also, will granite longsword have a special attack as well? If so, will it be similar to maul, or with less accuracy for each special, but faster animation (similar to dragon mace maybe)

I like all the updates, they look great.

but why only 66 slayer for wyverns? they are clearly superior to normal wyverns but yet require less slayer level?

Does not make sense at all.

Im a big fan of the proposed mining minigame, various farming/hunting content and the underwater area sounds really fun! My only concerns are that the slayer requirement for the Ancient Wyverns is far too low, and either the defensive stats or magic attack bonus on the Ancient Wyvern shield need to be lowered. The slayer requirement for Ancient Wyverns should be 81-82 to fill the spot between Nechryaels and Spiritual mages. The smithing and magic requirements to create the Ancient Wyvern shield also seem incredibly low. Considering that it requires 90 smithing to create the DFS, the Ancient Wyvern Shield should also require around 90 magic and smithing to create.

Make the shield have 15 mage attack and give it 40-50 range def sacrificing some accuracy for defence and giving it some distance from arcane.

The dfs (melee shield) has +10 magic def so why -5 ranged for the magic equivalent?
