So, what are the cheapest, and easiest ways to get the Parts needed for Augmentors, taking into account the "buy limit" of items and their ease to get through GE?

If you find yourself scratching your head as to how to get them the easiest way, I've made some discoveries myself. You're welcomed to share your ideas if you have them! Now then...

The list of Parts needed for
1
Augmentor
:

Base parts: x45
Flexible parts: x45
Tensile parts: x45
Enhancing components: x8
Powerful components: x7

Now, to get to 99 (and beyond) you need dozens of these Augmentors, so you can level weapons/armor and get their XP from level 10.
NOTE:

Using cheap T75 equipment, 65 Augmentors are needed for 99, and another 85 (or a little less) from 99-120.
So, from levels 4-120, you need about 140-150.

That being taken into consideration, what are, CURRENTLY, the best items to buy off GE, as I explained on my first paragraph?

FINDS:

Currently, for...

Base parts I've found out that it's fastest (and cheapest) to buy Adamant bars from GE (as the buy limit is 10k/4h) and smite yourself some daggers. Alternatively, you can put an offer at GE for Daggers, Swords, Maces, etc, and wait a day or two to buy all needed items, as there's a 100 buy limit per 4 hours.
I myself am buying Addy daggers over GE, gonna take some time though.

For Powerful components AND Flexible parts, Yak pouches.

For Enhancing Materials, I did Crystal Flasks, as I had like 10k horded in the bank, so meh. And, at a 1k/4h buy limit, while coming "relatively" cheap at 2k~ per flask, it seems a decent choice.
Since I need more for 120 Inv, I bought 10k.

For Tensile parts, Shortbows seem the way to go. Also an additional source of Flexible parts. Magic Shortbows seem reasonable.

^ You two mention battle staves. But those things are like 7k ea. Whereas Yak pouches are 4k ea. Not to mention, I'm talking about the most efficient and cheapest way to get the needed parts for Augmentors.
Yak pouches give lots of Flexible parts, and staves don't give any other Parts needed to make the Augmentors, besides Strong components, which Yak Pouches give OK.

Therefore, by disassembling yak pouches, you get both
Flexible parts
AND
Strong components
, and they cost much less than staves and are far easier to come by in large quantities (GE).

Now that takes care of most of my needs for now. I guess I'll give it a go with Shieldbows/Longbows to get
Tensile Parts
.

Hmm. Even with the cheap way to get all these stuff, it takes about 100m GP to get 65 Augmentors. And it takes about 120m+ for Divine Energy costs.

I guess I'll use REALLY cheap weapons to get 99 at this rate... Cuz I'm really poor at the moment (I have about 250m in GP capital).

Slayer rings are an excellent source of enhancing components and they are basically free. They are also a great source for precious components which are needed for siphons. You can get 300 slayer gems per day from slayer masters, and the slayer masters in Taverly have a separate stock meaning you can get 600 per day. The down side is you have to make them yourself, up side (as I said before) is they are basically free, they also give precious components, and they have a low junk chance.

Powerful components, your best bet is pouches. Yaks work, but any pouch above level 80 has a very low junk chance, so you might be able to get by cheaper than yaks with a bit of research.

You'll get more than enough base parts if you just make daily runs to the Varrock sword store and buy out everything steel and up. You can also go to the weapon store on Jatizso and buy stuff there. You could also consider buying/making square shields for base components. These have the benefit of also giving protective components needed for armor gizmos, which I find myself constantly running out of.

For the others, break down either yew or magic STRUNG SHORTBOWS, not longbows. Shortbows give dexterous components which are needed in siphons, are also very useful for making several good perks. Longbows don't give dexterous components.

I make my own Adamant swords for base parts. I make both flasks and crystal flasks for enhancining components and spirit terrorbird pouches for powerful components.

It's still somewhat pricey but definitely more manageable than buying the stuff pre-made.

Bows are naturally good for flexible and tensile components.

Shop runs are fantastic for base parts. All the following are steel through Adamant. Way cheaper than making your own from bought bars.

Varrock Swords (Swords, Longs and Daggers)
Warrior's Guild (mid-floor - Swords, Longs, Daggers, Maces)
Al-Kharid Scimitars
Keldagrim Warhammers (start The Giant Dwarf - Fast respawns)
Keldagrim Weapons (NW Corner)
White Knight Store (lots of useful parts - Requires Wanted!)
-Probably a few more I don't have access too.

Battleaxes don't give Base Parts.

2h swords are optional, but expensive. Optionally skip out on Adamant 2h.

Can try your luck with iron, but the junk chance is way too high.

Enhancing parts I remember getting off glass and jewelry, mainly making my own (wireless) dorgeshuun light orbs (more time consuming, but huge gp saver. They are untradable) as well as slayer rings.

Also nearly any pouches work for powerful components, even low level ones like terrorbirds, you just get more junk. For me, I craft my own terrorbird pouches using daily meat from oog'log, that gets me enough.

I forgot about keldagrim! Thanks! I've got all the swift I need from making my own mith claws, but I need more base parts, and royal bolts are like 4x as expensive as the shops.

It always is, especially when you factor in the bonus items you get using a portable.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.
What do you want to aug/disassemble?
