Can't disable Authenticator

Have just changed the tablet which contained my RuneScape Authenticator. Have now tried several times to disable it on my RS account in order to move it to my new tablet. I am being told an email has been sent but it is not happening. I'm not sure how much longer I have until the 30 days run out when I will no longer be able to log in. Not sure where to go from here?

Not receiving emails

Also check that there are no rules or filters set on your eamil account which affect emails from Jagex. If a hijacker ever had access to your account, thay may have tried to hide what they were doing. Or you may have blocked a phishing email with a faked 'from' address that was a real Jagex email.

Thanks for the above reply. I have now added all the contacts suggested and checked everything but I still get told an email has been sent - but no email arrives. I have received many emails from Jagex in the past , one only a few days ago. Not sure what else I can do?

Which email provider do you use?

Some email providers have problems passing on Jagex emails from time to time, for example Microsoft, Yahoo and AOL/AIM.

If you did follow Asahel Frost advice and still nothing , then are the last resort doing a full Recovery of the account , with a new email. (Jagex do recommend Gmail) :) Clan : Order Of Adventurers
