I've had trouble with updating my e-mail address on another account, as the login e-mail has been discontinued, so when I tried to update my details, a confirmation had been sent to an old student e-mail which I cannot access, thus my account was locked, but there is no way to contact support about it? Is that it for the account? I've just payed for membership but I can't even log on to cancel. I'd usually steer clear of drama but is there really no way to speak to someone about looking into the case?
I have 2 step Authentication and high levels of security on all bases.
Hopefully I will get noticed through tweeting support...

If you no longer have access to the old email, you will need to do a full 'recovery' on your RS account.
This is because Jagex need to see proof that YOU created the account before they will make a change as important as resetting the registered email.

Go to the Changing your registered email support page and follow the instructions under "Don't have access to the registered email?"

I've honestly tried, but because the old email has been removed from existence, I can't reply to any appeals. All of my billing details, authentication details are all updated to my current email, but any recovery links are sent to the old one. I'm at an absolute brick wall, and there is no way of giving the extensive evidence to my ownership of the account that I possess, because the email can't be accessed.

When you fill out the 'recovery' form there is a box to enter an email you can be contacted on so that Jagex can reply - enter your new email in this box, not the old one.

You can enter the old email in the 'Other Comments' section.
'Other Comments' should be used to list:
* names of other accounts you own and play
* emails you have had linked to the account during its life
* address changes during the accounts life (town/state/country only)
* any other payment information you want to mention
