My mobile phone died with my authencticator on it, no big deal I disabled the authenticator only to find out the link sent was to an old email account I no longer have access to. I am now locked out for an hour. Where do I go from here as the change email address sent the link to my old email address also. hmmm

This means that you have not kept the registered email (contact email) up-to-date for your Runescape account. :(

Are you able to recover access to the old email?
If you can, it will be the simplest solution.
Recover access, put through the changes you need to do including changing the registered email to a newer one, then abandon the old email again.

If you cannot recover access to the old email, you will have to go through a full account 'recovery' in order to get a new email set.
This is because Jagex need proof that YOU created the account before they will make a change as important as registering a new email.
To do this, go to the Changing your registered email support page and follow the instructions under "Don't have access to the registered email?"

hi i am unable to get into my gmail for my runescape account. i have tried to recover the account but i honstly just cant rember the pass for email. im trying to change the email on this account to witch im able to log in and have been for a long time. how ever im unable to get into the emal that was made for the account a few years back since then i jsut forgot the pass forit and kept playing runescape however i now am unable to get the required emmail to keep my account safe. please i am begging you i have tried everything i can possible think of please have a mod help me fix this as iv invested so much time and love into my account to lose it

You will have to follow the same instructions I left above for Sir Runite4.

You need to do a 'recovery' on your Runescape account in order to get the email reset to one you have access to.
Jagex will only reset the email on the instructions of the creator of the account and you need to provide proof that YOU created the account.

You still have to do a 'recovery' if you don't have access to the current email.

Being able to log in to the game means you have access to the account but Jagex need more.
They need proof that YOU created the account.

If you can log in to the game, go to Lumbridge and talk to Hans.
Hans will tell you exactly how old your account is, a very important bit of information for the recovery.
