Now that the event is announced and open to all to see, it's time for me to fill this post in and use it for the huge Thank You it was intended for, Naturally, I'd like to thank everyone on the team that helped to turn such a small idea into something so huge, but beyond that there is some special Thank You's I'd like to give out personally.
So to Mods Scorpio, Balance, Parrish and Pingu, A HUGE Thank You for your help and support with this initiative, the constant promotion and the general overall help in general, this couldn't of made the front page or such an impact without you guys!
To Athina and Steve, The first people I discussed this idea with and created an overall concept and idea with, the people that truly helped form and create a team and create this event for everyone, A huge thank you to you two because without you two to begin with, this would've remained as nothing more than just an idea.
To Iceberg, For your dedication and commitment from the moment this event was even announced to you, Thank you for all your help and hard work, your determination and your commitment to the RS community and this event as a whole.
To Reindeer Hat, Redwigon, SpotLeeWolf, Clue, Regicidal, Pur, Kaaz, Gulf, Scape_Classic, Great One, M e r c y, Dung Titan, Markvang, Freeman, Pogmathon, Aarie, Erwin and anyone else involved with this initiative, THANK YOU, none of this would've been made possible without you guys, your support and your commitment to the RS community.
And in advance, Thank you to everyone who attends any of these events - This whole event is for the community, by the community, I hope everyone has a good time and enjoys this little PvM warm up for Christmas Festivities.
Enjoy the events guys - It may be the first, but it won't be the last!!

Depending on the event and the boss in question there will be a variety of Lootshare and Coinshare, for example, Mine and Athina's AoD event on the thirteenth will be a coinshare mass so everyone present has the potential to make mils - This has worked out pretty well in the past with our last AoD event everyone leaving with around 70m in codex splits
Dukeofportersaid: have fun.... makes me wish i was a bosser , but my hand eye coordination is terrible
No better place to learn, come try something out, we'll also have a discord for everyone soon so we'll be able to get the hosts in and to give some tips and pointers for their events, provided all goes well with this Come try you might be suprised
Dukeofportersaid: my computer freezes up after about an hour or so using the legacy client even on low detail settings. i love the new look of the game using legacy client but i can't afford a new computer. thats why i hope i win the razor computer, but i am a porter we never get lucky...lol
258áForáLifesaid: Put what Gear/Items to bring for each Boss. Put what to do during each Boss.
0 Boss Kills!
There will be no requirements, each event is open to everyone and anyone that is able too attend We don't run these events like the FC's, if someone is willing to learn, we are willing to teach and help
Dukeofportersaid: ranging is my first love, followed by mage, then malee. i prefer fighting from a distance. i invested in an upgrade from the port range outfit to the sirenic outfit and i use the shadow glaive weapon. i also use overload potions to get that extra kick. when i do slayer i avoid taking food when possible so i have room for drops. i also take magic note paper. and gem bag. and the spring cleaner. i occasionally use prayer protect but prefer not to but when i do i take prayer pots too. i am just a simple player that likes to get in and out without banking in the middle of a slayer task.
Consider the Demon Horn Necklace (90 Dung) combined with the BoneCrusher and the Attuned Ectoplasmator, these three combined with soulsplit and you can do the majority of your slayer tasks without ever having a need for food/prayer restoring potions
Shak3sp3ar3said: Sooo coool!!! Er... I'm a newbie with 104 combat lvl. What can I kill?
I'm sure you can attend most, if not ALL of them, I mean the highest requirements for some of these are, some stats in the 80's for the GWD2 bosses, Vorago doesn't really have an entry requirement, Angel of death and Nex you'd need a frozen key, so provided you can access each of the GWD1 bosses you can attend this one also and thats among one of the highest tier bosses on our list
You should be good to go Feel free to pm me ingame if you have further questions or post here if you'd like a more specific list of requirements and such
Boethiussaid: Great idea, I've tried to get in on the Mod Lee boss mass but never get into the FC. What will be the limit of players for these events?
Usually at Mod Lee's masses theres someone running a second instance, if I'm around for them I'll always be running a second instance so be sure to watch out for those - Theres no limit set, we're all set to cater to the needs of 200 or so if that many choose to show up
Naturally - If we're doing the higher end bosses we prefer to use the grouping system, so each instance will max out at 50 players - This doesn't mean you won't get in, this is where the co-host opens another instance and so on and so fourth until we cater for ideally, everyone present
SaintáBlairsaid: well this is awesome im an avid bosser and a vetran player but i can never seem to find/get a team together for vorago/raids or even now aod? which... i really dont know anything about exception of the hole in the wall
And thats what this event is all about, My original idea was to give the people that don't usually get a chance or an invite to these types of bosses a chance to experience them themselves and for everyone to be given a chance
RevenantáImpsaid: This is a great initiative, and I'm really happy to see the players doing this to the point where Jagex announce it on their newsposts. I'll be joining these with my friends, keep up the good work everyone and let's enjoy these events together.
Slavesaid: I wish someone would do raids ;-;, but big thanks to everyone pitching in to help others learn!
Raids is a bit more troublesome since it maxes out at 10 man teams and it would require dozens of hosts :/ it just isn't practical in terms of a community event sadly, though we don't know what the future holds
As for getting you involved, just turn up, I like to give brief fight summaries and such before I start any event either way, I'd also suggest maybe watching some tutorials or strategy guides if theres a boss in particular you'd like to learn

Wagsiisaid: I really don't like bossing but this sounds like the perfect opportunity to get some bosses knocked out for the reaper title. It's the only thing that concerns me about trying to get the completionist cape.
After hearing on Tuesday's stream that they're considering removing the reaper title from the comp cape reqs... I was honestly just going to bank on that.
Apologies, I was sleeping, personally I wouldn't back on this happening, personally it feels to me that the removal of this requirement could be met with a lot of frustrations and such especially if it goes to a vote and in my eyes, getting some boss experience in either way never hurts
Guthuixsaid: Looks like Ironman accounts will be left out again T.T
My apologies, I haven't had much experience interacting with any of the Ironman Mods and such nor seen much community interaction from them, Ideally, if I get a chance, after this event has passed and so on I'll try and take some time to get ahold of a few of these such Mods and see what I can do about maybe establishing a similar event for Ironmen.
I do feel that Ironman may be a path people choose, but thats no reason they should be left out of such festivities, especially when they have access to particular group bossing, Still take this comment with a grain of salt and I'll see what can be done in the new year.

DareáR27said: I fail to see how this event could really get anyone into or teach anyone about PvM and its mechanics in Runescape, every single mass I've ever seen or been in devolves into either the boss dying or phasing in seconds unable to do anything meaningful with its mechanics, or like with KK's magic orbs, kills 80% of the people present while also dying in seconds himself. Both ending a fairly terrible PvM experience for those that are truly new to PvM, and a boring experience for those who aren't. Is there any way or are any steps being taken to address these issues?
In all essence, this event is mainly designed to be a fun little lead up to Christmas for the community of RuneScape. And as such the experience levels of everyone involved will vary dramatically.
Higher end bosses like Angel of Death and Vorago have such mechanics that prevent them from being killed "instantly", and in doing so, this gives people a chance to learn some vital mechanics for such higher end bossing, be it the insta-kill mechanic of Angel of Death or the Timed phases of Vorago.
Some people will attend solely for killcount to help them with their pet chances when they go off on their own, Some people will attend just for fun and to meet new people, others will come for their own reasons and gains and others will come just for the fact it's a community event and there's many avid Eventers in the community, In my experience its always fun to see familiar faces turning up to my events or events I'm attending.
For the lower end bosses and such, I do like to call out any vital mechanics before instances begin and during the event, naturally with things like the Kalphite King, some death is to be expected, especially where the mage phase is concerned..Everyone is encouraged to watch a guide or look up strategies for any event they wish too attend but if not, thats not a big deal, we can cater as well as is within our power to do so.
AxisáTheá3rdsaid: OzzyisGodsaid: Would've liked to, but there's no normal mode for the bosses I can do. Given my time zone, they're too early anyway. Not to mention, with all those ppl, the drops are gonna be horrid!!!
Also bit of unfair timings ...not one usual time in asian regions. I live in GMT +6 region ...so either i have to stay away through the night to take part...please fix it.... thank you in advance....
A lot of the team involved with this are either English or American and as such the times reflect when we're openly available, we realize this doesn't work for everyone and it's something we'll work on in the future ideally.
Reapasaurussaid: Brutal work schedule mid Dec and on , in addition to horrendous pvm'ing skillz. Nevertheless, looking forward to attending a couple of these. Thank - you sooooo much to all those involved for your time and efforts !!! P.S. gunna have to upgrade my Bronze armour to Iron at least
Thank you from myself and the team We look forward to seeing you there, and I mean, come on, we all know bronze armour is for the true MvP's
Bigboy1173said: Gonna join for ones i need a kill on for reaper, so furies, helwyr, nex and corp. Hopefully we can get a drop at nex, so book drops for everyone, and i can complete that mqc req as well
SeerSwordsaid: Just got out of the Arma Hard Mode mass. A big thank you to everybody who came and an even bigger one to everybody who's put work into organizing this. I had a lot of fun and will be coming to many more!
Cyndarkwoodsaid: Thank you, Pogmathon for the Vorago event.
I apologise for getting a bit exasperated, but being a "lone wolf" these past 15 years, I had trouble figuring how to join the encounter. I was monitoring the friends chat, group chat, public chat, and I even thought that the "key" was just someone's name when I stumbled across it the first several times. Anyway, at least now I know better.
