Are there any downloads left out of the 25,000 that were released? I actually wouldn't be surprised if there are over 10,000 left. This game has lost over 90% of it's fanbase. Jagex employees are pieces of ****.

Not out of the original 25k, no. They ran out very quickly.

Jagex have said they'd be raising the download cap gradually, however there have been some serious issues reported by portions of the community (in particular, a lot of us are crashing at the lobby and unable to play) so they'll probably be aiming to sort that out before raising the cap any more.

It's probably frustrating that so many of us who got in still can't play, while people who potentially could are left out in the cold.

Thanks the feedback 2TiminNoGood. I'm going to assume that the **** is something obvious like cake. Really awesome and tasty cake, with Chocolate sprinkles and lashings of butter cream icing.

Uncle Pob. Totally understand your frustration and in a perfect world, it would be possible to release the beta flawlessly with only trivial issues. This is a beta however and we needed to do it so that we can see how the game performs on mobile on a wide variety of devices.

In the last few days we've learned a lot about the technical issues we had no way of testing prior to release and, once we've resolved them and are happy we've made meaningful improvements, we'll up the cap.

Basically, we made the choice to do this slowly so that we can respond with a little more thought and care than if we had allowed everyone in at once and were overwhelmed by a plethora of responses. So I agree, there is frustration, but I feel it would have been WAAAAAY more frustrating for everyone involved if we allowed everyone access when we launched the beta.

Betas are betas; the app may or may not work on any particular device, and finding these problems is ultimately the entire point.

However when people like me (who can't play because of technical problems) often see others who're desperate to have a try, who may potentially be able to play the game fully on their devices, but cannot (because the download limit is reached) it's very hard not to feel a bit guilty. It almost feels like those of us who're crashing in the lobby are wasting slots, since we're unable to continually provide feedback like those who're able to play can.

Totally get that mate and I commend the feeling you have, but every crash we get like that actually helps us identify and resolve the issue quicker and reach a situation where we can let more people into the beta.

Short term pain, long term gain I guess. Doesn't get rid of the bad feels, but gives those bad feels purpose and a route to a positive resolution. :)
