Posting this on behalf of Mod Timbo who's away this week

Hello everyone,

Welcome to this week's 'Drop Rates Revealed!' post! This is the last in the series, so we hope that you enjoy it. This week we'll be covering Vorago, Corporeal Beast, Giant Mole and King Black Dragon.

Don't fret; this will not be the final drop rate reveal. We want to hear from YOU about what should be in our next blog which will be arriving Friday 17th November. What particular Slayer creatures are you hungry to know drop rates for? Are there a number of weird areas like the Abomination boss or chance at a Khopesh from Shifting Tombs? Please let us know on this thread and we'll gather up the most requested and post it on 17th November.

Without any further ado, here are the final drop rates for bosses!

Vorago

When Vorago is killed, up to 5 players are eligible to receive loot, but only one person can obtain a rare item. For each person eligible for loot, they have a 4/5 chance chance to obtain two Tectonic energies.

1/200 chance to obtain either Seismic Wand or Seismic Singularity in normal mode
1/100 chance to obtain either Seismic Wand or Seismic Singularity in hard mode

Corporeal Beast

This is a simple drop table, nothing really complicated here!

1/512 chance to roll on to the Sigil drop table
3/512 chance to otbain a Holy elixir
8/512 chance to obtain a Spirit shield

If you roll on the Sigil drop table, it is then:

1/5 chance for a Divine sigil
1/5 chance for an Elysian sigil
1/5 chance for an Arcane sigil
2/5 chance for a Spectral sigil

Giant Mole

For the Giant Mole, it decides if there is going to be a rare item dropped, and what that rare item is, before attributing it to a player (if it wasn't killed in solo). If rare loot drops, one of the top three players (if there are more than one) is given the rare item at random.

Regardless of difficulty, the Giant Mole has a 1/10 chance to roll on to its rare table. However, whether you're fighting it in Hard Mode or on a Free-to-Play world determines what rare loot you might get. Here are all four different rare Mole tables depending on how and where you kill the Giant Mole.

Normal rare table (Members)
1/52 chance for a Dragon 2h Sword
5/52 chance at a Clingy mole
46/52 chance at 3-6 Numbing roots

Normal rare table (F2P)
5/52 chance at a Clingy mole
47/52 chance at 2-6 Numbing roots

Hardmode rare table (Members)
2/52 chance for a Dragon 2h Sword
10/52 chance at a Clingy mole
10/52 chance at 8-12 Numbing roots
30/52 chance at a 1 dose Ultra Growth potion

Hardmode rare table (F2P)
5/52 chance at two Clingy moles
47/52 chance at 8-12 Numbing roots

King Black Dragon

And the best is saved until last. The King's drop table is fairly straightforward, but its worth talking about the drop chance for the Last Riders book.

The base chance to obtain the Last Riders book is 1/1,000, but this has bad luck protection on it meaning that every kill where you don't receive one reduces this number by one. So for example, if I have 560 KBD kills but no book, my chance is now 1/440. This continues all the way up until 1,000 kills where your 1,000th kill will have a guaranteed book drop.

10/1,280 chance for the KBD trophy head
1/500 chance to roll on the unique table (where both Dragon ornament kits and Dragon Rider boots/gloves all have equal chance to drop)
1/5,000 chance to obtain a Draconic visage.

We hope that you enjoyed the final boss version of the drop rate reveals. To confirm, there will not be a post next week as we collate your feedback and gather up all of the information for what you want next.

Thanks,
Mod Timbo and the RuneScape Team

Hello everyone,

Welcome to what is going to be the final blog on drop rates for a little while, Drop Rates Revealed - Miscellaneous Edition. We've covered all of the major bosses and a lot of popular content (including more content this week) so we're going to be taking a break until there is something major to cover.

On that note, we're going to be releasing a blog about Skilling Pet chances on Friday 15th December. For each skill, we'll be covering the major skilling methods and providing a little explanation of the different methods of calculating pet chance.

Without any further ado, here are the rates!

Abyssal Hound

For every 5 worlds you complete, you have X/150,000 chance of obtaining the Abyssal hound from a Shattered Worlds chest.

X is the end world of the group of 5 multiplied by 5.

This means if you went from world 1 to 10, you would get one roll of 25/150,0000 and one roll of 50/150,000. If you went from world 1 to 12, your roll would be the same, as you didn't reach the fifth world in that group.

Monkey Skull

1/30 chance to roll the "rare Zombie impling table" whilst opening/catching a Zombie impling.
1/100 chance to obtain a Monkey skull on the rare Zombie impling table (other items on the rare table include Ourg bones, Fayg bones and Raurg bones)

Thinker Boots & Gloves

1/500 chance to obtain either Boots or Gloves (you'll receive one you don't own or one at random) from a Crystal Impling
6/20 chance to roll on to the "Fallback" table of the Motherlode Maw (if you have 115 Dungeoneering and you're not using Motherlode shards)
On the "Fallback" table, there is a 1/85 chance for both the Boots and the Gloves separately.

Rune Dragons

Previously the chance for a tier 90 boot component from Rune Dragons was 1/512 from regular dragons and 1/256 from elite dragons. This has now been changed to:

1/256 chance for a random combat style tier 90 boot component from Rune Dragons (Ragefire gland, Glaiven wing-tip or Steadfast scale)
1/196 chance for a random combat style tier 90 boot component from Elite Rune Dragons (Ragefire gland, Glaiven wing-tip or Steadfast scale)

High Level Slayer monsters (Ripper Demons, Acheron Mammoths, Living Wyverns and Camel Warriors)

1/2,000 chance for Camel staff on task (1/10,000 off-task)
Mammoth tusks were 1/25 before they were made a guaranteed drop
1/1,000 for either main or offhand Ripper Claws (1/5,000 off-task)
1/2,000 for a Wyvern crossbow (1/10,000 off-task)

Tormented Demons and Glacors

1/256 chance for both Dragon claws
1/256 chance for Dragon crossbow limbs
1/352 chance for a ruined lump of dragon (required to make Dragon Platebody)

1/128 chance to roll on the Glacor boots table
10/96 chance at 1 Shard of Armadyl

Glacor boots table
1/10 - Glaiven boots
1/10 - Ragefire boots
1/10 - Steadfast boots
1/10 - 4 random herbs noted
1/10 - 1 kwuarm seed
1/10 - 4,100-8,199 coins
1/10 - 3 noted water talisman
1/10 - 3-4 shark
1/10 - 1 random tree seed
1/10 - 2 random herbs noted

Vinny

1/100 chance on completion of Wisps of the Grove D&D

The Arc: Seiryu's claws, Orokami masks, Idol crablet, Bird spawn chances and Treasure Chests

Mod Orion has kindly provided some information about some of the rare occurrences, as well as drop chances for some highly sought after things in the Arc. Normally we would only cover drop rates but as it was provided and should be of interest, we're including it as part of this blog.

1/1024 chance of Seiryu's claw from an Arhat

These masks can only be obtained if you catch the implings barehanded on an uncharted isle:
1/100 chance for an Ikuchi orokami mask from an Oily orokami
1/92 chance for a Kodama orokami mask from a Bundling orokami
1/90 chance for an Akkorokamui orokami mask from a Salty orokami
1/84 chance for a Karasu orokami mask from a Stalking orokami
1/80 chance for an Akateko orokami mask from a Foraging orokami
1/72 chance for a Nue orokami mask from an Ancestral orokami
1/60 chance for a Shinigami orokami mask from a Murderous orokami
1/64 chance for an Oni orokami mask from a Fortunate orokami

Arc birds:
1/10 chance cooking Shark Soup (1/40 chance cooking Arc Gumbo) in the Arc to spawn an Azure Parrot
1/600 chance from harvesting divination wisps in the Arc to spawn a Cyansoul Kakapo
1/200 chance from a captured tortle in the Arc to spawn a Tortleshell Plover
1/800 chance from a successful harvest of berries or mushrooms in the Arc to spawn a Pumpkin Limpkin
1/200 chance from chopping bamboo in the Arc to spawn a Great Pecker
1/200 chance from successfully gathering from a mining crablet in the Arc to spawn an Awah Guan

Uncharted island treasure chests:

The chance of a treasure chest (and the degree of its size) washing up on your uncharted isle depends on the sort of voyage you're undertaking.

Short voyages
1/100 chance for a large treasure chest
5/100 chance for a medium treausre chest
5/100 chance for a small treasure chest

Medium voyages
2/100 chance for a large treasure chest
6/100 chance for a medium treausre chest
13/100 chance for a small treasure chest

Long voyages
6/100 chance for a large treasure chest
9/100 chance for a medium treausre chest
17/100 chance for a small treasure chest

We hope that you have enjoyed all of the drop rates that we have posted today and over the past couple of months. As mentioned at the start of the blog, this is the last one on item drop rates, but we'll be back in two weeks for the Skilling Pets drop rate reveal.

Thanks,

Abyssal Hound was horrifically wrong, want to say sorry for that :(

Here's what the actual formula is...
