So since we can hood comp, max and skillcapes, i dont see any reason against not being able to hood classic/vet capes.

So how about it?

Finally after nearly 4 years :

Why shouldn't you support?

- No reason to spend dev time on this.
- It would give added perks to f2p players for no reason.
- No, it's not inconsistent with other capes. Expert skillcapes and 120 skillcapes don't have attachable hoods, nor do other capes of distinction like the lvl 10- lvl 90 capes.
- If you want to wear vet capes just wear them. You don't need the hood attached to it.

- Hooded veteran capes require unique models each and would be a complete waste of development time. It's not a mere copy and paste job, and there would definitely be graphical assets to create.
- Free players have already received a sizable amount of updates, they don't need more.
- Capes of distinction do NOT have attachable hoods. It is not inconsistent, see all the hoods for the level 10-level 90 capes? That's right, there aren't any.
- If you like veteran capes so much, just wear them instead of asking for a hood to cover the design and completely defeating the point.

In light of the time that would be required to implement such an update to cater to such a minority of players, it simply doesn't make sense to do so. In light of the complete lack of updates in 2017, do we really need dev time spent on elitist capes instead of content that everyone can enjoy? Seems like a lot of selfish behavior in this thread and not a lot of love for the game, and that's sad. It's an unreasonable request tbh.

No support. Spent developers time on something useful instead.

Didn't had any progress the past 2 years and it won't for the next.

Given that classic capes are now discontinued, I doubt Jagex will reserve any time at all for discontinued / heavily time-gated capes.

but i wouldnt use personally

Agreed.

Theres no reason not to do this.

If you wouldn't use it personally then why did you make a thread on it?

No reason to do it, either.

Agreed, it wouldn't even save bankspace since the costume room and bank are now linked. No excuse to spend dev time on it.
