These last couple months have been extremely sparse for content. I really hope Jagex has some extremely large stuff planned for Summer because this isn't looking good. I really feel like RS3 is being run by a skeleton crew just trying to keep the game afloat at this point.
2-3 new pieces of unique content per month 5-6 years ago, down to 1-2 pieces of unique content every few months. Not acceptable, especially for $11 a month and how much Jagex is making off MTX.

MTX disguised as a quest event. Crater MTX event (more notably having its proceeds given to charity, which is nice). Basic QoL improvements we've been asking for for years for clans. Basic additions to the quest list we've also been asking for for years. Portable MTX. Oddments MTX Refresh (always happy to see, but it's still MTX) The first actual Solomon's update we've seen since June 2018 (no, I don't count two items taken from original and inspired ideas and butchered to work with the game engine as an update to SGS).
I don't see the coming month as a nothing month. We do get the Easter event, even if no new permanent content. And that event is a real event; it may have some mtx associated with it, like many events do, but the event is still of benefit without having to pay for the mtx.
So while I can understand people finding the month lacklustre, I disagree with those who categorize it as a total loss.
Still no word on whether Treasure Hunter will be disabled whilst the portable Vic thing is going on, so I take it that means Jagex is going to double down on the MTX monetization again, and just like before, not increasing the quality nor quantity of the game updates in return.
Dark Gaiasaid: Looks like I won't be logging in to RS3 this month either.
Lmao if OSRS wasn't a thing I'd have dropped my sub a eternity ago.

Well, I do hope that Jagex is keeping something from us, or this upcoming month of April is going to be the worst month in a while for updates.
Easter egg hunt might be fun. Good that you tied in three f2p guilds, but could have included some updates for those guilds at the same time to make them relevant again, even as part of an actual quest or other permanent content.
this is kinda the side effect of the peaks and valleys/lulls in development cycles.
The team that completed the mining/smithing rework had a lot of help. with such a huge project, it's to be expected that other dev got slowed. It's only been 3 months since the release of it, and remember, dev can take months before anything comes out.
You also had a team wrap up ED3 and the subsequent quest. another bigger project.
So it may be may or june before we see another interesting sized project.
