I started a discussion about this on Reddit.

On the Sandstone/Crystal Flecked. A guys suggested an Invention Machine on it.
Basically 1 device per Sandstone spot. *something something* method to deposit in bank. Get ore, no XP.

On the task rewards, like I suggested before, there could be a centralized location for that. Afterall, when you complete the elite version of each task set, it is annoying to have to still keep going around. Wouldn't the npcs in the area be in enough awe of you to say "ya know what [player], I'll just ship it to you 'cuz you're just that [adjective]"?

As I suggested on the Daily Challenge, I'm sure you want 100% removal. Personally, I'd start with a reduction on required length of some of the tasks (ie: 300+ bows).

Most of the rest, I'm not entirely sure how to approach.
We already know Jagex won't touch the daily keys. MTX is MTX and that has been a virtual no go for "removal".

Not everyone does Soul Reaper.
Not every does the Serenity Posts. (need to access Priff first of all.) It's comparable to rep gain activities in Menaphos. (ie: isn't the Soul Obelisk a decent way to train Prayer/Div/RC? Squishing corrupt scarabs for the quick chunks of Slayer XP?)

Raffle is up for discussion atm on Reddit as well. With enough community support ... might get it nerfed or removed.

As for the list of the time locked stuff I'd take the list again that Urek linked a couple of pages ago. It's not fully up to date (at least 14 months since it still refers to Char's cave as a weekly d&d, but not more than 21 since it has wisps of the groves listed), but it is a good guideline to start with - regarding permanent content. Ideally we tackle on the dailies first - in a way players wouldn't end up worse than they do now.

Could you link your reddit thread in here? Also the one for the raffle.https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/bw3f58/needing_to_stop_raffle_rigging_we_have_3_months/

I personally doubt they'll discontinue the raffle, since it's an extremely easy way for them to build up something that would otherwise be just a patch week, but the issue in there is less dailyscape, but more the actions of some guy who should've been banned a couple of years ago - alongside his thousands of alts. They'll likely either do nothing or nothing efficient (i.e. something said player could compensate by introducing a couple hundred more of accounts) rather than removing it.

Yea, they just don't add anything of value to the game, instead serving as a random exp handout and luring you into logging in every single day to not miss out on the reward. But whatever do you mean with "starting with a reduction"? Is that supposed to indicate eventually removing them or what?

And btw, reducing the length of daily challenges would make them even more OP, since you'd get the same reward for less work, and thus more people would be inclined to do them, resulting to even more dailyscape slaves. Might as well remove them altogether.

Ehm, not sure what your intent here is with saying not everyone does those, because if you think about it, pretty much every dailyscape piece of content is something that somebody doesn't do, yet that doesn't make them any less of a problem to those who do. To talk more about soul reaper for example, for those who are into bossing, they're lured into doing bossing every single day to get more profit and exp from bossing, which they would miss out on if they didn't complete the activity every day.

EDIT: And yeah, I forgot about Menaphos.

Rikornak,
The Reddit was
https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/bw56lm/what_do_you_specifically_consider_to_be_dailyscape/

Might want to start a 'newer' discussion though.
Doesn't seem I'm famous enough to get a real conversation going.

That's because the reddit users don't hate dailyscape and they don't want reductions, not that much because you aren't famous. :)

No.
Pretty sure a good portion of it is that I'm not a big enough name to garner interest in the discussion.
Bigger portion of it is likely the way I tried to communicate it. Even with English being my first (and only) language ... I can have some difficulty getting across the message I'm trying to convey.

I'll often joke in all seriousness that I'm difficult to understand, but not hard to figure out.

Sadly, that's kinda like what it feels like to get something going for how to reduce dailyscape.

I've created a thread on Reddit.

https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/bzlii5/do_you_have_any_ideassuggestions_on_how_to_reduce/

Basically seeing who else out there has suggestions they can give to Jagex for how to reduce dailyscape.

So as a sort of a mini-update to this thread, Jagex just released a video on the upcoming fossil island that hints a new herblore D&D... please, Jagex, please don't make it into a yet another daily chore. Make it something that you have to earn access to via actual gameplay, instead of daily handouts to either make the herblore skill another daily chore skill or to make the D&D dead content (if it's not OP enough as a daily).

On the Tuesday livestream, Mod Ramen confirmed it is a weekly.
so one less potential dailyscape

Eh, it'll still be a problem though: since the game already has too much dailyscape, adding this on top only makes it worse. And AFAIK, we don't know how slow or fast this one is to do, so even if it's "only" weekly, it could still be a chore of an addition.
