Since classic Torva override can be shown in dangerous areas if you're wearing actually Torva underneath, can Aetherium armor work the same way with Elder rune?

I mean, for crying out loud, making full Elder Rune gives an achievement called "It should have been called Aetherium.". If people have trouble differentiating them for the 6 people who use the wildy, then maybe they deserve to die in the first place. I mean, it looks like melee armor anyways, so just use magic and bobs your uncle.

I'd imagine it can simply be copy/pasted in the code easily with the items specific IDs, and its something that would max out fashion scape in minigames/wildy activities :)

No support, they look to different aesthetically, the other retros still have some resemblance to their current appearance and people are not likely to not recognise what the player with retro override is wearing. Whereas aetherium and elder rune look too different, they pretty much have 0 resemblance. And since aetherium override isn't commonly used and has not been in the game for long enough, people might not recognise what armour it's supposed to be.

Ikr.

Might as well make retro rune work with dragon or bronze armors /s

You completely failed to see OP's reasoning, which even though I do no support his suggestion, is a actually valid reason.

Aetheirum was supposed to be Elder Rune before they changed it last minute. And to be honest, it wouldn't be too far fetched considering theres even an achievment "It should have been named Aetherium".

Would it REALLY hurt to copy and paste the code used for Torva/Old Torva for something that would take like 2 seconds to do with Elder rune?

won't happen.

Aetherium doesn't actually exist in game.
Elder Rune is its own material.

So you can't use the comparison of retro bronze-dragon or GWD1 armor over modern bronze-dragon or modern GWD1 because it never existed beyond concept.

in addition, you're under the assumption that the other player would recognize it as the tier of armor.

again, the retro armors are still spiritually similar in terms of design and color to the older models.

uwot. Aetherium exists as an Override...

And I mean, yeah...kinda screams t90 armor. I'm sure all 4 people who actually use pvp/minigames would recognize it. If not, eh..?

This gives me another idea then
