1.3. A History of
FFDN

Sword Kill11
and
Masterdez
founded
FFDN
(Fast Free Double Natures) on the 10th of March 2007. The aim was to provide a community working together to facilitate fast runecrafting experience and cash generation. The company began to thrive and both runners and crafters were getting an efficient and fair service.
World 36
eventually became the official Nature Rune Running World due to Jagex recognising the growth in the activity.

On the 2nd of January 2008, the removal of free trade occurred. Crafters moved to the assist system for 30k experience every 24 hours. This required many more crafters and we became a larger more organised community because of it. It made things confusing for runners for some time, and at times was hard to manage, but through the dedication of the regular crafters and our graduates, we managed to keep
FFDN
running.

The 15th of June 2010 was the introduction of effigies. This had a severe effect on crafters and runners and split the community. However, we rallied around it and devised methods to assist both parties, runners wanting their natures and effigy hunters wanting an assist. This has continued to this day, with runecraft effigies being assisted through the friends chat. Unfortunately due to issues with crafter availability, it became extremely hard to manage the altar.

With the introduction of clans, we have embraced the opportunities for our loyal community. We started from almost scratch with the community being the main focus, whilst keeping our previous community.
FFDN2
has limitless possibilities with what the future holds for a bunch of dedicated and helpful skillers.

1.9a. Community Citadel

Please participate in upkeeping the citadel and collecting resources for us to improve it. With improvements we will be able to hold future community events.

The citadel and resource plots therein are now Tier 7 but it continues to need upkeep and we are always adding cosmetic upgrades, so although citadel gathering is not required, it is much appreciated. Members who consistently help at the clan citadel are recognized with Star ranks in the clan chat.

1.9b. Ranking Protocols

New clan members start at 1 stripe
Promotion to 2 stripes after 1 full week in the clan
Promotion to 3 stripes after 2 full weeks in the clan

Once someone reaches 3 stripes, a points system is used and the person starts at 0 points. Ranks are updated every Friday.

0 Points -
3 Stripes

2-4 Points -
Bronze Star

5-9 Points -
Silver Star

Maxing at the citadel (2700) earns 2 points.
Collecting at least half of max (currently 1350+) earns 1 point.
Every week (whether one maxes or collects nothing) everyone loses 1 point. Therefore, one needs to half max to remain with the same points each week. For example:

Collecting less than half = net loss of 1 point
Collecting half but not max = no change
Collecting max = net gain of 1 point

Minimum points you can have after calculation is 0.
Maximum points you can have after calculation is 9.

Please remember to ask an Officer+ to check your resources so you receive credit for any citadel work.

If you have both a main account and noob account(s) in the clan and you would like the noob account to mirror the main's ranks, please have an Officer+ confirm the relationship ingame.

FFDN
Announcements

July 2014 Promotions

On behalf of the High Councillors, I would like to welcome a brand new High Councillor/Company Operator to the fold:

Exclsior

first came to our notice during the spring/summer of 2010 in the days when effigies were a big deal and soon became one of our earliest Effigy Coordinators. When that died down he stayed and became involved in the events side of the clan and in October 2011 was named to our Events Team where he continues to work tirelessly to run our many events. Earlier, in August 2011, he was picked to become a clan Officer due to his exhuberant demeanour and always helpful manner.

In 2012, he took on a Citadel Organiser role and was instrumental in doing the initial set up for it and creating tools to help make it easier to track the improvements needed. Shortly after in April Exclsior was ''moved up a notch'' to Councillor and a special rank was created for him due to his dual roles and indefatigable work on FFDN's behalf: Councillor/Organiser with a silver target chat icon.

In 2013 when Jagex reintroduced Old School, Exclsior was in the nat chat from the beginning (as Company Officer), helping to keep it running smoothly and be a pleasant environment for everyone.

Fast forward to 2014 and Exclsior continues with his work on behalf of us all, maintaining the citadel, keeping the chat lively, dealing with chat issues that arise from time to time, organising and running events and always being ready to answer a question from or lend an ''ear'' to a clan member or offer them a hand with a task they need assistance with (an example is the 45 minutes he spent with me last week kicking a gnomeball around the G E so I could upgrade it to the next level). Whatever it is, Exclsior is always the first to step up to the plate.

Thank you from all of us and congratulations, High Councillor Exclnte
