Would be nice if you patched the xp rate in The Great Orb Project, though, to make it less disadvantageous to use. 3k xp/hr isn't going to attract anyone, and will put of many who try. Making the content a viable alternative would be a big step towards letting it be used again, and the great thing is that you get essence based on score, already, so it will encourage people to play the content, rather than afk in it.
If changing the existing multiplier is hard (we've already been told it isn't.. but in case that was incorrect), then you could simply add a multiplier to something like the hat, or one of the wands, as you have those on you, by default, if you're playing it.
If you get up to 3k/hr from decent playing, now, while the multiplier is 2x, you could easily change that to a 60 to 120x multiplier, without it being overpowered (you have to score high, to get a lot of essence, and that takes a long time to master, this would reward that on an incremental basis).
The content is great, when played, and it's sad to see such brilliant content going to waste, simply because it's inefficient to play, even when you go there.
