Hello all!

No messin’! Let’s get down to business.

This a post for all combat issues, whether it’s PvM, PvP or just combat in general.

This can really be anything ranging from Dragonbreath not working at all to a small spelling mistake in Vorago, the aim is to smash out as many fixes as we can to make combat a bug free experience and not have issues that sit in game for a long period of time and then get fixed. We want to address right away when they pop up!

The reason for this thread is that we get a lot of posts throughout Reddit, Twitter and Twitch chat comments about bugs, although we reply to them and tell you our stance on the issue at the time. It often gets lost real quick by other posts.

If you have any feedback in regards to bits and bobs feel free to drop it here as well!

We really do care about combat, not only as developers, QAers but as players too <3

It will take time to go through the masses of posts on this thread, sort and bug each thing to the correct developer, so please have patience and don't expect as soon as you post it will be fixed for the following Monday, some of these things take a while

ummm my client freezes randomly can't pvm. I'm trying my best to pvm, but it is hard not to die when your client freezes for a solid 5 minutes. It isn't my internet, I know that - people are telling me it is to do with memory release? any update on what is going on?

Something i'd like to know, are these new band-aid fix mechanics added something that are now going to be permanent? Or are they just temporary until you can fix the safespot issues that were introduced with the walking fix update?

The 'band-aid' fixes we've been repairing today.

Most the morning myself, Curse and Daze have been working on Telos to fix up all the issues that came from Monday's launch

You explicitly stated (in an earlier council post or on stream I can't remember exactly how) that you didn't want to address issues in future as you did with anti-walk mechanics- such as Nex or Durzag- in that they did not directly affect the real issue, but instead were aimed to combat our use of those 'bugs'. Yet adding these rocks seems exactly like this sort of band-aid fix where you're completely overlooking the underlying problem (which I might add you created when you altered the anti-walk for other bosses) that safespots exist in these boss fights.

Edit: Why does it also take so damn long for you guys to acknowledge bugs in pvm? Stuff like Planted Feet were broken since release yet only recently have we been told that you have no active plans to fix it. I mean would using it now in it's current state be considered bug abuse?
Or the change yesterday to Intercept. I can agree it was OP but why not at least acknowledge that this is not behaviour that you intended from the spell and that even if a fix would take months to deploy we know that eventually it will be changed.

Thoughts on reverting nex's mage/range prayer ? Everyone just uses the instance method to force mage pray, would be nice if we could kill it with range or mage with the instance method. Wasn't that mechanic only introduced when seismics were op there?

Im just curious of why you made the changes to Vindicta that you made.

The corner (or the map-tile) that people used to safe-spot Vindicta is different from the other corners of the arena.

Why did you guys not just fix the map/tiles instead of adding stupid new mechanics to the boss itself?

I can add pictures of the map squares if you are curious of what I'm talking about here.
