So how do we all feel about the announcements?

Two new buyables getting levels to 120!
A little bit of farming content after nerfing PoF!
Some new quests!
And another new skill - archaeology!

How do we all feel about this? I was a bit surprised they didn't address the MTX concerns that a lot of the community had, but the new skill is just as good as replying to community concerns! As the J Mods said - the PR guy wanted him to say we have a new skill coming when everyone wanted to talk about MTX!

Of course they have nothing regarding MTX to address since nobody even asked them a question remotely related to MTX.

Great content revealed. Great new skill too. Great in-deep study of the big Annual Runescape Survey. Great hosts with Mod Mark showing us some funny sign language too.

Of course, great enthusiasm demonstrated by many many Jmods. Even Mod Pips, the Jagex CEO, joined the fun and answered questions at the RS3 Keynote Q&A session. When was the last time Jagex had their CEO answering specific game content questions at a Runefest? I don't recall any at all. :)

I saw many questions regarding MTX being asked in the twitch chat, although they had to ask using words like mocrotransactions, as Jagex had filtered out MTX lol. Considering that the community is wanting something to be said and done, why didn't they say or do anything? Thoughts? Or is it just because RS3 is not community driven?

Say what? Nobody looks at spam, let alone answering spam.

The fact is IRL, Jagex sent their highest ranking Jmod Mr. CEO Mod Pips, to answer questions face-to-face in front of a full-house of several hundreds live audience with great enthusiasm and passion. It never happened before in any Runefest.

Of course, the full-house of audience are not interested in any MTX questions or they would have asked since it would be the best chance ever to get that answer directly from the live mouth of Jagex's CEO. That clearly showed you what are important to Jagex's player community and what's not.... and perhaps to your disappointment nobody cared about MTX... not even a petty crab in red shirt. :)

Wait, so if a lot of people hold a certain view it is considered to be spam? Okay then. I guess any anti-mtx view is spam, according to Jagex and you.

I'm really excited about this.
I really like farming, it's something I do here and there together with a few herb runs a day, so I can collect herbs when I decide to do some Herblore training. There's no rush for me getting Herblore to 120. The new farming "trees" sounds fun especially the money tree.

I'm a quest fanboy, so my hands are in the air. To me, questing is a nice break from whatever I'm doing in-game, and they're fun to do :D .. I hope they'll release them more often.

So far, the new skill sounds fun imo. Looking forward to it. Gonna miss comp cape lol

Repeating the same thing many times is spamming and a violation of Twitch rules. Note that Twitch moderation also took down all sort of spam posts and not just MTX. For instance, they removed spam messages with the name of a player too because it was being spammed many times.

Besides, Twitch moderation is not part of the Runefest Announcements. If you have problems with Twitch moderation you should ask Twitch rather. MTX also was never any part of Runefest 2019. Sorry you are just barking up the wrong tree.
